An exclusive tour of a modern cum traditional house designed by Designritmo in Surat, Gujarat

Tucked amidst the rice fields of Barbodhan village in Surat, Gujarat, the house designed by Designritmo borrows inspiration from a traditional South Indian home, both in the context of architectural elements and the warmth it exudes. The large sloping roofs dictate splendour, shielding the house from the region's harsh climate, and keeping the pool deck easy-breezy on sunny days. A reverse slope in the living area is provided to achieve a full view of the north garden, and the open-plan design allows maximum connectivity with the outdoors. The courtyard, another traditional design element of Indian houses creates a dramatic play of sunlight and the sound of rain within the home. A contemporary approach to the conventional design styles is evident in every detail of the house, from its architecture to interiors where Indian art forms and materials are used.

Unlimited money comes from hardwork that has been put in for years, may be not necessarily you but someone in the family if we start taking being born in a rich family, if you ask me everyonehas a fate! Being born rich is good but life is somewhat fair we all have to ultimately work to survive some may have facilities to make their job eadier and some might not! Rather then complaining for what others have life seems more meaningful to live if we start to strive and built even bigger empire for ourself, just sharing what I felt.

@@merajadasofficial well, if I have to live everyday for it, then it’s not worth because by the time u achieve it, u may realise life is way bigger than the house. It’s not worth living for it. Strictly speaking, if I can gather my entire net worth, I can afford the house but that doesn’t make sense to invest that much in house unless we have 40 more crores over and above this for future. Because at the end of the day we are not going to sell this house so it’s not good as not having any net worth after putting wire money into it. Also, maintaining this massive property costs a fortune and need to manage several servants. Beyond a limit, I don’t see the point.

I FELT THE SAME WHILE WATCHING BUT LATER i put myself in her shoes and asked what would make her happy. I then realized she would not be as happy with it as I felt. we the kids often think about them from our shoes but not from theirs. This concept Ive never seen before & Ive admit it’s very striking. I like the fact it’s inclusive away from neighbours. Looking at these lavish farmhouses, the question has to be asked. How this money was earned? If by farming. Then why wealthy farmer are not taxed, provided free/discounted electricity ( which this house might be using ), and why tax middle-class salaried persons for the lavish life of wealthy Farmers. I am not saying all farmers are rich, and don't require subsidies, but wealthy farmers need to taxed as much as any other class.
