Kind of fun as in an amusement park. Seems safe and reliable. Start selling tickets. Think they can improve the landing stage toward spring legs or other solution. Maybe directing the capsule to a pool or lake. The parachutes process is safe.

Thats not comparable at all, its like comparing Electron to Falcon 9. And in a month? Nope, thats not happening haha. Maybe in your dreams but no, Starship probably wont even be crew rated (except the artemis variant) lack of an abort system. It's basically a death machine.
@timmywimmy91792 жыл бұрын
@@alexn8219 If you payed attention to detail, you would know that this upcoming flight is going to be another test flight and when starship finally does have a fully working and capable one built, they are going to put it through so many tests that it will be more reliable than your toaster oven before they ever let humans step foot onto it (for landing). As for the abort system... I know rockets are a lot harder than planes (*which also don't have an abort system*) but that's because no one previously had the money or recourses to build and test so many rockets that they were as reliable or more reliable than a plane.
@timmywimmy91792 жыл бұрын
@@alexn8219 Also I don't know if you have seen the speed of improvement and ingenuity going on after every failure to make sure the next prototype will do better, but I'm sure if they can go from a little hopper to a full sized starship doing a 10km flight, belly flop, and now landing all within just under 2 years... I'm sure they can have working prototypes of both starship and super heavy being tested regularly by late this year or next year.
