Iv never seen the animations, but this is what I gathered from the game- (This could be completely wrong :/) so I think it's balvanie was a popular kid being bullied in school by this mean girl. Her crush (TineBallan?) often stands up to her bully(s) and taught her how to draw. They both shared their favorite oc's. Balvaine made a muzzled zombie that was kinda violent. It helped with her anger twards her bullies. Her crush made the bandged boy who would take pills, just like herself who had to take pills for her depression. This explains why Bacardi was head over heels for Aredbeg and wanted him to be a zombie that would be difficult to kill. It was what Balvanie felt for her crush. One day on her birthday, Balvanie finds her crush who had committed unalive in the bathroom. Desperate to save her, she cut herself open to try to give her back the blood she had lost, but she ends up dying Aswell, stuck in an endless purgatory of her own birthday, Tineballan ending herself, and her trying to save her all over again.

the first half about the bullies and tineballan seems correct but the final ending we see seems to imply a different other half, seems to imply belvenie lived, was put into a mental hospital and was put on several medications (and the images of belvenie and the short haired person with the heads and bouquet looks like they are in hospital gowns) and flashes between the short haired person and belvenie seems to hint at belvenie changing genders or identity (probably to cope or "have a new life") 30:48 is possible belvenie was hooking up with a guy at said hospital? with how he looks shirtless there and above her 30:54 there is a very short thing of eyes and a blue thing that i have ZERO clue what that is, closest thing i can think of is a lobotomy but that wouldnt make sense if she took on a new identity of some sort so no clue of that snippet

Okay, so I went down a rabbit hole and watched the animations. I think you are mostly correct! There's a few additional things though. There's a girl named Rose who is briefly mentioned here and I think is the bully in the real world. She seems to be a girl with an eating disorder who hates Balvenie because she is an idol and thus ya know, image of perfection. Rose's parents also seemed to have forced her to emulate her which made the hate worse. She also seems to vent her frustration and hatred by tormenting and manipulating mentally fragile girls. There is also Agave who is not shown here at all. She is Tinebalen's little sister. Their mother died in childbirth and their father ---- himself, so Tinebalen both loved and hated Agave. Agave eventually becomes depressed and tries to drown. Rose "saves" her, but drags her into a life of delinquency and such. Tinebalen thinks Agave is gone, so she --- herself. Finally, Balvenie finds her, loses it, and is put into a psychiatric hospital. Also, I think Ardbeg is Balvenie and Bacardi is Tinebalen, not the opposite, as both the game and the animations show Ardbeg turning into Balvenie and vice versa. I don't quite get this part since Bacardi is usually aggressive towards Ardbeg and he fears him, but takes the abuse out of love, whereas Balvenie and Tinebalen don't have that dynamic at all. All I can think is like maybe it's because Balvenie having to think about Tinebalen's fate causes her mind to try to force her to wake up and face reality and thus "destroy" her fantasy.

Belvanie couldn't handle the hate her fame brought her and she was admitted to the hospital where Tine visits her. Tineballan little sibling died then Tine unalive herself. Belvanie couldn't accept that and think Tine off herself because she hated her. Bacardi and Adberg are self inserts of them.

@@MokohiChan Tbh I wonder if bacardi is a more literal name and is symbolic of alcoholism, because bacardi is literally a brand of rum. Would make sense with the abusive relationship between aredbegg and bacardi more than as a direct parallel to balvenie and tineballen. Tineballen kills herself, and balvenie becomes a shadow of herself as aredbegg and numbs the loss of tineballen with alcohol. Also now that i think of it agave plants are used to make tequila. I don't think that's connected but if it's a coincidence it's funny there's 2 possible alcohol references here lol. Crack pot theory that bacardi is Agave, and that by turning agave to delinquency rose turned agave into alcohol. And now that I think of it again Rose (idk how to put the accent mark) is also alcohol as it's a kind of wine, so maybe the creator just looked at alcohol brands and names for names for the characters.

Ok so I think I got the point of the story, I based it off rest of author's animations and stories. So big SPOILER alert: Balvenie is a school girl and she meets Tineballan. They quickly make good friends, share creations together and cope with fun. Tineballan also saves Balvenie from bullying (that purple hair bully, it's Rose) and she quickly becomes Balvenie's crush. Sadly Tineballan commits the act of unalive (on Balvanie's birthday) and Balvanie tries to save her by giving her own blood. The outcome is eventually unknown, but after that event we move to the candy world of pastel gore. Here Balvenie is some sort of queen, with bunnies attempting to create successful birthday party for her. This explains why Tineballan is being revived over and over. Balvenie just doesn't want her to go, and feels guilty of her death. Yet Tineballan still loves her, and actually tries being support for her. There is also Rose mentioned (only seen in school segments, but she's part of pink world as well) which plays her evil bully role, as she created zombies. Now we move to the Bacardi and Ardbeg part. Ardbeg is actually non existent person, but is based of Balvanie's personality after the incident. He's covered in bandages after "blood donation" and takes medicine to help with the trauma. Bacardi is also, non existent person who symbolises alcohol. It is strongly suggested as his name is literally a brand of destilants, he has unhealthy relationship with Ardbeg (mixing medicine and alcohol at the same time) and it explains why Ardbeg is dizzy after "chunking on Bacardi's flesh". That concludes the true ending, Balvanie's post-trauma self indulging in unhealthy habit and copying with reality. Which is ultimately, the saddest ending of them all..

I think ardbeg and barcadi are "self" insert characters of some kind? Ardbeg being 100% a "self" insert (most likely made by tina) of bellvani. Not sure about bacardi but hes either supposed to be tina, bellvanis bullies, or some sort of mixture. He may even stand for a concept if some kind. Either way I'm pretty convinced (especially with the notebook paper door) that ardbeg and bacardi are tinas OCs that she showed bellvani on the roof top.

⁠@@ryugaroxas I’ve also watched the creator for a while and I think this is what I managed to piece together: so uhhh balveine (I’ll call her bal for convenience) was the forced to be a star/popular by her mom and because of that “rosè” ( the black haired girl who gave her a gift in the flashback) was extremely jealous of her and hated her and bal also hated her own popularity since it made people hate her . And for tineballan is pretty messed up: tine had a little sister who tine’s mom died giving birth to (I think) and then their father self unalived himself in front of them and because of all this tine’s sister couldn’t take it anymore and drowned herself in a lake/river ( she then washed up alive near rosè and is currently with her) and so tineballan followed unaliving herself in the school bathroom. Now that’s all I can remember but if you want to read there stories i recommend going to the creator( jo_sipu)’s character introduction vid as someone posted their whole story in the comments! (And sorry for any errors I can’t write in English that good)

okay so i just binged a buncha their videos, not all of them, lemmie give you a run down (as best i can, some of this might be outdated due to older videos) (as for watching order on the artist's channel it's hard to say, i went with watching through Balvenie's playlist as you'll get the stuff that's relevant to her) Balvenie and Tineballen were students going to the same school, both friends and artists. This girl Rosé (who in this game you only see in a school flashback, she's the one who give Balvenie the chocolate) really likes to covertly pick on Balvenie and cause her little bits of pain because she was a pretty and popular(?) girl. Meanwhile Tineballen is going through a lot of depression, mostly family troubles (her little sister Agave has her own playlist). Ardbeg and Bacardi seem to be ocs Tin and Bal draw. One day Tin can't take it anymore and offs herself with Bal following because she's in love with her, after this it's really unclear what happened but they now seem to be stuck in an afterlife of sorts. The ocs they once drew are now people. Rosé is there too (and also in some videos Tin's little sister.) They each seem to be stuck in a role of sorts, Bal is the clingy and cutesily sadistic ruler, Tin is the constantly resurrected suicidal zombie, Ardbeg and Bacardi i've got no clue about honestly they probably just keep being who they were as characters, and Rosé is the annoying trickster villain. Really anything can happen to them now, most of the videos follows the weird shit they all get up to with a good bit of metaphors thrown in. Reaallllllly highly recommend watching the videos, the art evolution is crazy~~

Frieza was right, cute things are terrifying. I do have a few theories though, with what may be happening, however this if without watching any of the content from the creator. These theories consider the world not to be with a bunch of monsters and crazy stuff, and takes it more as symbolic. First off I think Ardbeg, they represent the battle with depression. The pills make them happy and remove feeling, as anti-depressants do. The innocent side trying to be preserved in a way. The person that “cares” about them, Barcardi is self-harm. Self-harm usually feels “good” to people battling with this, it eases stress, and I think that is what’s happening. They become stuck addicted to anti-depressants but still doing self harm. Together they make Tineballan. Next, we know Tineballan is dead. Now, Balvenie is alive, I thought she was dead as well due to the chocolate scene, but I think Tineballan stopped her from eating the needle. (Originally I thought Tineballan grabbed a different piece of chocolate, but I think they snagged it from Balvenie). I was thinking Balvenie and Tineballan were the same person, but I am more thinking the bathroom scene was a genuine flashback of the real world and the events that happened that day. With the events in game we know Balvenie is obsessed with Tineballan. Balvenie is upset Tineballan hurts themselves, and wants to stop them from doing it. Also, I think Balvenie confessed to Tineballan, and was told no. Blinded by the rage of reject of the one person that they considered a true friend and loved, they killed them, as revealed by the secret scene. Tineballan did not end their own life through self-harm. Therefore I think this world is a mental one created by Balvenie to cope with what they did. The bunnies were created to take blame for the actions, and also to keep her surrounded by “friends” and happy. The date and the true death of Tineballlan being locked away makes me think she is trying to seclude and forget that memory. Maybe this could be an actual world with these horrors, but I really believe it is a phycological experience due to the realism of the flash backs clashing the style of present time in game.

hi!! its been a while!! so my memories and english translations might be incorrect but heres some info!! Balvenie is a popular idol in worlds, shes always the prettiest the most popular and loved everywhere, the "main character" However it's seen that her perfect image come crushing down after the loss of Tineballen and her imperfections(medicine usage, signs of harming sxlf) seem to show more, making people hate her. Tineballen is a xxxcidal person that hates Balvenie for keep bringing her back to life with an addixxion to smoking. Often revived by Balvenie no matter how badly she ruined her body. Ardbeg, they're correlated to medicine a lot. It's just my personal intrepretion, they seem to be one of the vent ocs the artist uses and contains some context to what the creator could've been through I don't know well about Bacardi but I know they were shipped together with Ardbeg by the creator. Rose is usually the antagonist of the worlds, Rose's father was abusive and forced her to become like Balvenie(look like her act like her and all) because he loved Balvenie. Rose hates Balvenie because of this, she is seen ruining her life often in a lot of stories. She's also seem to be correlated with a lot of body modification. (tamagotchi video: altering her victim, red riding hood video: a wolf turning into balvenie, etc.) Jo_sipu loves hearing various different theories I think! There sure is a set story and their personal stories in a few however as long as they don't confirm it, don't be scared to think about it! Again it's been a while since I've seen the whole series so I could've missed a lot of details to whoever is reading this, please make sure to check out Jo_sipu's other works if you can stomach it!! It might give more context to the game and make sure to show them a lot of love!

So here's how i saw it: tinebellan was the mc's friend, treating her like a normal person, not a celebrity. She was stuck in the endless loop of keeping up appearances while having to deal with bullying/ depression. One day, she discovers tineballen having od'd / other s method, maybe knife considering the blood fixation (thus the "doctor" character giving them "medicine" to "fix their problems", which slowly destroys them (as depicted by the true ending). Mc, upon seeing her only friend, who helped her cope so much that she now feels lost, dead, she tries to save him in whatever way she can, probably trying to give her own blood to save her friend. She doesn't succeed, but she survives; she "moves on" (physically) but is stuck with the guilt and sorrow for who she lost, so she resorts to substance abuse herself (thus baccardi, etc. - alcoholism). She tries to cope by entering a land of make-believe, where she is outwardly happy and has adoring fans, while she ist slowly dying inside, refusing to accept the reality of the situation.

She's one of my favorite artists on KZbin. It's so amazing you are playing her game! No you aren't missing anything.... in a way. That's just how things are. You can think of each character as a extreme of a type of mental illness. Or unhealthy personality type. Bacardi is a enabler in a way and acts like he's trying to help but really only does things to make him worse. He kinda represents the vicious nature people like that can have. This is all my opinion though. Hope you liked it!

The game developer is a fairly popular artist who has made several animated videos of these characters. The channel name is jo_sipu. So the characters in the game all have very odd backstories, perfect for theories. Hope that help!

Well that was a surreal experience. Interesting art. Pretty heavy stuff. I would like to see more of the world to probably put things together more. Arts great. Got so many theories and such. It is a tragedy and the actual characters sorta going through the traumatic feedback from it. It did seem like ardbeg was like a fusion of the personalities of Balvenie and Tineballan, at least from Balvenies perspective cause of the unfortunate end of the actual tineballan. Drawing art was their coping mechanism til Balvenie was taken to a hospital, after you know...and thats how ardbeg came to be, with medicine prescribed to them. But with all that pill imagery, i think whatever Bacardi is, is sorta urging them on to over doing it, keeping balvenie in that state. Thats why the ending with Bacardi is the true end. The zombies are the bullies and probably the weird apple people with Tineballan always there knocking them away. As for the eyeball man, not sure, it could be something symbolic or a part of the psychosis affecting balvenie or some kind of manifestation of some sort. The tragedy of Tineballan probably happened on balvenies birthday. One thing i could think pertaining to what Bacardi is, is that they are another manifestation created by balvenie to sorta replace what tineballan was to her. In balvenies mind the events of what caused her trauma on her birthday are just playing out in repeat while they are still living as ardbeg.
