If it fits it chips! Lol I saw one recently at the front of the store that had a Manager’s Special purple tag on it. It was listed at $479. I had kids waiting out in the car so I couldn’t look at it very closely but it looked like it was in good enough shape to take home.

Yea, those "Predator" engines are like that. Easy start, don't use much gas and last a long time.

I bought one of these harbor Freight chipper/.shredders BRAND NEW a few years ago. But, when I had started it up, and tried to chip a bit of very slim tree limbs up, and some leaves too, it had just seemed to be all clogged up. BUT, NO WAY should it have been clogged up and NOT chipping up the really "light duty" things that I had started off trying to put through the ,machine. And when you buy any machine at Harbor Freight, you just do NOT have any WAY OF HAVING THE MACHINE REPAIRED OR EVEN serviced. You are basically all on YOUR OWN. And, what makes ME MAD is the fact that my NEW machine hadn't even been able to shred me some fall oak leaves and VERY THIN branches. I hadn't even been able to do anything to OVERLOAD it with leaves and/or thin branches. I am HOPING that once I catch up with some of my other expenses, I CAN GET A guy that serviced my riding lawn mower to get my harbor Freight chipper/shredder in working order. I really SUCK at figuring out chipper/shredder machines. I owned a BIG one before, a 4 wheeled "Merimack" one, or whatever name it had been, it had been a BIG one that you could tow behind a ;lawn tractor. It was NOT cheap, BUT, I just could NOT figure out how to run it, and I ended up almost GIVING IT AWAY. NOW, I have this Harbor Freight chipper/ shredder that I can NOT figure out HOW to get into working order, so that I can even use it to shred or chip up any organic matter to make compost faster. I am just kinda pissed because I can't really make some organic matter smaller with my harbor Freight chipper/ shredder, because it doesn't work. And since the store does NOT even have ANY repair people to fix ANY of their machines, lots of people have BOUGHT equiptment that does NOT work and they can NOT get any store personnel to FIX any of the machines and/or equiptment. ' It is all JUST WRONG.

The time you took to write your complaint would have been better spent searching U of Y (University of KZbin) for chipper repair videos. Mine was dead in the water. I found a replacement carburetor kit on Amazon. It took fifteen minutes to change it out and it started on the second pull. Good luck.
