I too, am a part of a credit union, but in midwest US, and I usually get a different person every time I call and if it's the problem I've had in the past, they'll tell me differently on how to fix it So far, they have yet to fix any of the problems I've had, so yeah, credit unions really aren't that great...

Not sure I'd actually expect their customer service to be better across the board but I suspect that credit unions customer support may just seem better because you have to deal with it less and they don't have to be the bearer of bad news as often. Simply having more transparent fees makes customer service a significantly easier job to do.

+Rob DaFrog That's not generally the case with banks. I also don't understand why you start with "people need to wake up," as if we all don't already know. Call centers are infamous for that and are often associated with thick foreign accents and poor English. I mean, it's one of the lowest hanging fruit on the comedy tree...

I work for a gym. I've also worked for a school. And other stuff. People are irrational, insatiable, annoying ***** wherever you/they go. On the flip side, many companies have policies that inflame emotions of already upset people (you were late paying X, so we're charging you a late fee...is a great way to get people upset at you, your company...etc). Same for basically anything. I paid you for X; your service doesn't meet Y specification. When you work a customer facing position, it comes with the territory.

To potentially answer the "Will there ever be a show like the bachelor for gay women?" thing, there was a show back in the mid 00's called "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" in which bisexual flat-earther, Tila Tequila (she is both of those things but only the first is relevant to the show) did a "double bachelorette" thing and had 10 straight men and 10 queer women all vying for her romantic attention. It's not a good show but it's fun to watch and as a bi person I really wish there was a version of it with a better bisexual.
