Got my kitchen from Wrens Infinity plus Shaker in Feb 2022, units were delivered with no issues. I got my own kitchen fitter and my kitchen is lovely. As my kitchen fitter says, a good kitchen fitter can make a £2,000 kitchen look like a £10,000 kichen. My advice is this, whether, you get your kitchen from Wrens, Howdens, Magnet or B&Q, always, always, get your own kitchen fitter.

That’s exactly what I did.. I got my own fitter he rewired all electricity, fixed walls and floor before getting the kitchen, then started installing on clean walls .. so far so good

We got our kitchen from wren just before Christmas and we still have no worktops the only f’ing day of the year we wanted a the kitchen to be perfect and they fucked it up big time total fucked up our Christmas we had to cancel family coming over 🤬🤬🤬 do not buy from wren there a joke 💯 please don’t buy from wren…

We visited a Wren showroom and I thought they were spending a lot on expensive showrooms and sales staff. We went for Homebase in the end, quite a nice kitchen including cooker and washing machine for £4,500.

Just had a infinity plus installed amazing that all 30 cabinets were perfect and nothing missing all very clean too but i used my own fitter just incase i got a bad one from them. I am extremely impressed with Wren amazing service for me anyway

@@TechAngelx Not at all, just done one for a relative and we're just diy'ers. Couple of bodges on our part dealing with bad walls and floors but the units themselves were fine. Will see how they bear up. Sales are definitely based on 100% confidence in level walls, floors and utilities on part of buyer. If those are out, fitters are variable and are going to get out of there as fast as possible. Tbf I think that applies to most value kitchens.

Here's my review of your review from a kitchen fitter's perspective; 0:40 the decor panel, which is supplied as a separate piece more than likely has not been scribed correctly by your installer. I see no issue with product quality. 1:00 the instructions for these clearly show that weight should be evenly distributed across all baskets. Your bottom one is virtually empty and upper ones are loaded. 1:12 was it sold to you as 'soft opening'? Soft close, yes. Never seen a soft opening pullout in my 8 years' experience. 1:25 as someone else mentioned, that decor panel has been cut on the bottom rather than on top and not been sealed. A spillage or mopping the floor will cause water ingress and cause the MFC core to expand. That will only get worse. Related to that, where is the ventilation gap either side of the fridge? Typically these fridges need 50mm gap either side. Heat damage could also be a factor. Was it planned like this? You've not shown the plan, so again...could this be a fitting issue? 1:40 these drawers probably left the production line perfectly aligned. Then they've been loaded on a van, no doubt they've been shaken about a bit during transportation, unloaded into your house, unpacked and turned upside down to put the feet on, then placed next to your cooker. Did you really expect a component with moving parts not to move? There's adjustment scews behind the cover caps on the drawer box sides for final adjustment. Takes 2 minutes per drawer. Not a quality issue. 1:44 where's the video of everything damaged and messy?? You've shown 1 damage (below) 1:49 i've damaged fasicas a couple of times when handling plinths. How do you know that was wren and not your fitter? 2:57 you say you had no power and didn't see the wrong colour until later? I'm not surprised by these issues if your fitter's been doing this job in the dark. How did he not notice?! The worktops are clearly defective, and it seems Wren are sorting that. Seems a bit harsh calling the rest crap. You should have made it clear in your review that you sourced your own fitter. Most issues shown in your review are down to your fitter, in my opinion. If you need any fitting advice I'm happy to help

On the basis of your comments it gives the impression you get work from Wren. They are a dreadful company that start passing the buck with any issues. Their units aren't absolute crap but their no better than their market competition. As with all such work you rely on a good installer preferably a proper joiner. We're a year in to severe issues both quality and installation related. Avoid Wren and their promises if a dream kitchen, yes you get a dream kitchen alright but the dream all to often is a nightmare.

Yes there we're fitting issues with Wrens own appointed fitter, not a fitter appointed by ourselves but what we were led to believe was a fully approved and trained Wren installer. Many aspects of the product was substandard too, certainly not up to the standard of the kitchens I've installed by myself in the past, unfortunately health issues now stop me being able to do this. Now a but of sound advice, don't judge on what you have no knowledge off because you clearly don't have any knowledge of our experience or my background and ability to spot quality over the mediocre. You are clearly a poor sad person looking for attention, please go get some help.

Agree with your remarks about smooth presentation by WREN. Like you we bought a kitchen smaller than yours for over £10,400. Their attitude changed after they demanded payment and were paid in full. I said no not really wife said yes when we paid we lost all leverage to make sure all was well. After a visit by Wren to make sure all measurements were correct it got fitted in December 2022 thats when the problems started. In a nut shell the expensive (£900 ) deep corner carousel could not be fitted due to an existing corner soil stack. It is in the garage along with a door and another part that they do not want to collect or refund. The work top is not wide enough and does not cover the serving hatch. Basically Wren new about these features but did not design properly that is their job. They did rectify some mistakes to be fair but not the work top and other issues and yesterday Plymouth Wren intalation manager emailed us telling us they have finished with us, still no rebate on parts suppied but not needed. There must be better kitchen companies that are confident enough of their work and products not demand payment in full before work begins. We will never recommend or purchase from the amateurs ( in our opinion ) from Wren again. Beware - do not pay in full if they insist buy elsewhere.

Just had a Wrens kitchen fitted , had a few chipped and damage doors , only found when my filter was installing the kitchen after un packing units, got in touch with customer care service all new replacements sent out no problem at all , I found Wrens were very apologetic for the problems , personally can't fault them .

I can totally relate to your situation because I’ve got the same problems with them. All units came damaged the units and don’t fit our kitchen because all measurements are wrong and they don’t take responsibility for anything. I had the same feeling at the beginning that are a very professional brand but after they deliver the units they don’t give a f..k. I’ve paid £8000 for a very shit kitchen. I wish I knew before I signed the contract with them.

being 77 years my husband and I just wanted new units in the kitchen to replace the existing ones - design the same. well the showroom and designer gave us confidence and that it where it ended. we had a kitchen surveyor come and measure who gave all the measurements to the designer at the romford branch. it was delivered and numerous mistakes but it is all down to myself because we did not check every measure and every piece what was delivered. fridge does not fit because there is a gas pipe in the way - the boiler cupboard does not fit because it is too short and you can see the boiler. remedies from wren are a new work top to accommodate fridge - new boiler cupboard which will come down further throwing the line of units out and a £110 pounds compensation. paying £8,.000 is not a ,lot to wren but it is to us and kitchen could not be used for christmas. paying fitter to come on several occasions,. dishwasher door wrong colour although this has now been rectified. as my solicitor said when i consulted him about it 'you do not buy a house and then expect to do all the legal work yourself' that is why you are paying me. the kitchen fitter and the designer aree both at fault it was not measured properly in the beginning and the boiler cupboard issue was never explained. customer service takes hours to get hold of on the phone. if you want hassle go to wren

im just fitting a Wren kitchen for a customer and i have to say, when i have been building it up, nothing lines up very good. the metal turn bits dont sit in the holes deep enough, i wouldn't have it in my house. hope you got it sorted in the end....

my daughter has bought an infinity kitchen total £16000. with all kitchen units, washer dish washer. etc. cooker, hob, she's lucky she has her own fitter, (dad) joiner for 45 years, but even he's struggling, understanding why there where so many 'fillers' so far staff have been very helpful, and i can't see why it won't continue...... will keep posted.

That's because all the staff are overworked and understaffed, being ruled by incompetent middle management. Good Installations Coordinators are often left by the wayside because they don't churn out enough calls or emails to keep their personal statistics high, meaning they don't get pay bonuses.

We went to a Wren showroom a few days ago where we saw a really nice kitchen. The guy we spoke to was really friendly and helpful and the shop left a positive impression. Now having second thoughts and shopping around elsewhere after watching your video. I also checked the Which? magazine, and their rating for customer service isn't good.

In exactly the same boat, IKEA have been as good as Wren at pre-sale and far less pushy. Selection at Wren is excellent though

Hope your kitchen is sorted now - I had same experience, customer service team inspire you with confidence in their product but after service is awful. I was told to go on website and look up adjustments myself, sink leaked and a bit fell off and they want a photo! When water was pouring through into the cupboard the last thing I thought of was taking a photo! Really disappointed with it ☹️

Order placed with Wren is actually being cancelled now as their pre-fitter advised us that the electrical appliances we ordered from Wren is actually not going to fit these, and we need a separate electrician to connect everything. Not impressed with not being advised on that to start with as I'd not have ordered in the first place. Glad I've seen now the quality of their finish.

This doesn't look like a Wren Kitchen?? Plus edging on a Wren kitchen is glued with Bond X and it shouldn't come away as regards to the Tower Unit and in 3 weeks? If you contacted the store room manager this would be sorted already. You should take some videos of inside of the drawers and the features inside the wall units as Wren have distinctive features. You should highlight the details of the units as these units could be from any one of Wrens Competitors because all of them supply this door frontal.

I totally relate. BC stone destroyed my Quartz. The damage cannot be repaired. I have 48 Tex and emails with wren customer care. Blaming me for the damage. The customer care is a joke. They have a 26 page contract they fail to give you until damage occurs. My correspondence with customer care is poor. They go in circles. I’m looking to hire an attorney. We got a Wren kitchen fitted and it's absolute shite! Had many of the same quality problems as yours with units arriving damaged/chipped/with finish peeling off. When we told Wren about this, they simply dropped off the entire kitchen again as "replacement parts" (taking up loads of space in our house!). The replacement parts have now been sitting for a year at least with no response from Wren as to when they're going to do anything about it. Total crap, its all shine and no substance!

I'd be in their door everyday pretty much shouting your issues the moment you enter making sure every potential customer can hear you untill resolved. Did you install yourself? Was the work top and fixing points measured and cut by wren and did you pay for fitting? Just put a depsoit down tbh. Like you really happy with design and sales rep. They are pretty much all the same, when designing and ordering they are your best friend but once you’ve paid your money they don’t give a ****. And btw never use a supplier’s installation service always use an independent tradesman

Those fancy showrooms and expensive sales people are paid for somehow,... unfortunately the quality of the units is very poor and you have a lottery with regards to the fitters they assign. My advise, visit the showroom for inspiration but find a local recommended fitter, have them quote you for the work,.. they will have lots of contacts and experience and know where to source good quality units at a better price.

Ours was very good I have to say. I know there are very different reviews but ours was excellent. The price is high but the fitters done a great job. And the quality is good. Personally I’d have walked away at the sales part. It’s very odd how it works they keep a lot of cards close to their chest. Breakdown of prices isn’t really fully disclosed until you start putting money forward! I found that very frustrating. But my wife was adamant she wanted this kitchen. Good luck

I work for myself as a kitchen fitter and have fitted a few Wrens kitchens over the years. I can honestly say that every time I have one to do I dread it because the reviews are shocking. However I have never had any issues with the quality of the materials supplied and the customers have always been pleased with the finished kitchen. I can see from your video that quite a few things have gone badly wrong and the template for the worktop was shit. Most of the mistakes on KZbin with the exception of faulty goods are down to the fitters not having a clue what they are doing. Some are too dumb to realise that most of the stuff they are fitting is adjustable and with a bit of time and patience the doors and draws will line up as will the jerky pull out. Trouble is though if you have some dimwit that puts the cabs in on the piss you don’t have a prayer. Shame because there are plenty of us decent tradesmen who actually take pride in our work and go to extreme lengths to ensure that the customer is happy. I don’t go to work to have some customer wanting to kick off each day. Hope you got sorted.

Their prebuilt units are out of square - can't get them level and plum at the same time, making it impossible to line up doors, especially if kitchen has pelmet and cornice then you can see top and bottom gap (can kinda hide this problem on base units under worktop but it is still visible if bending down to the level so its a cowboy job) cabinet sizes also out, where let's say 600mm unit will actually be 602mm, has glue marks everywhere too. Very bad.they must be making alot of free money out there...

Just had wren do our kitchen, arseholes. Kitchen delivered a day early whilst me and wife at work and kitchen floor being laid. They threatened us with £150 charge and no delivery before Xmas. Half kitchen in living room other half in my rehearsal room damaging a vintage drum kit. CCTV caught them. Numerous panels had damage. Splash back wouldn’t fit due to work surfaces cockup. Have to get a bespoke one made and get it fitted ourselves. I could list at least 10 more problems. Cowboys.

Don't use wren!!! The sales and design are great. However delivery wasn't complete and we are still waiting for Units and appliances Units came dirty. Most were damage. The quality is shocking, door gaps are all over the place. We just want our money back now. Even the delivery guys said all they deal with is complaints and they would not recommend wren to any of there friends. They even warned me that I would be waiting hours for customer services and they were not wrong. Go somewhere else. The stress and cost of fitting due to missing items is not worth it.

Sincerely hope you get the disgraceful mess they have left you in resolved. Should be ripped out and started from scratch. I visited their fab showroom. Wasted a day waiting for the guy to arrive to measure. He rang to say he would arrive early. Then a showroom guy rang to say he wouldn’t be coming as he was stuck in traffic. Joke. Your video and his ‘traffic jam’ have cost them a potential 15k to 20k order.

Evening, sorry to see your Wrens experience hasn't gone to plan and hope it gets resolved as soon as. I'm a Wrens fitter for 3 years and as a subcontractor its works well for me, out of the many kitchens I install a year, usually 2 or 3 turn out bad through damaged goods or wrong product, holding the install up at an early stage, you also get lots of damaged doors etc along the way this is always gona happen I'm afraid, but these can be ordered as installation progresses and not holding things up. Wrens are always supportive and always replace damaged product without question only downside is nothing is stocked and can take a week to be on site meaning finding time to fit 😫. Thousands of installs are carried out every week by Wrens and unfortunately certain ones may have teething problems. When I was deciding weather to join Wrens as a fitter i read alot of bad press from fitters but my experience has been a good one and enjoy fitting for Wrens and hope this helps people with there decision to go for the Wrens experience.

@@yoyo878 Hi, it all depends on what sort of damage or defect and part of the kitchen it is. Me as the fitter i always order the damaged item if I come across it on installation and I always try and keep the installation going if possible even if that means fitting the damaged item until the new one arrives but this can not always be achieved. Some damages can be hidden if there not on show they dont need to be highlighted. Damaged worktops will not be fitted or any large item that would cause alot of work to replace will not be fitted and I will charge Wrens for me attending out of the allocated time slot I gave to install the kitchen. Hope this helps.

Wish I had watch your video before. I just had my kitchen delivered. And wish we just bought our kitchen in IKEA its a lot cheaper and the same quality. We have to order the hood separately as they said they don’t have stock upon delivery. We have given them ample of notice to deliver the product. I am more concerned about the quality. Its just Sh*t!!! And Christmas is coming.

They opened their first U.S. location in Connecticut . I viewed an absolute nightmare last evening that they charged over $50,000 for . This is without a doubt in over 30 years in construction the lowest quality "cabinetry" and I use that word liberally that I have ever seen. On top of it the installation appears to have been done by pre-schoolers. What a mess.

trading standards friend, this is a complete shambles, combination of bad survey terrible co-ordination and shoddy fitting, target the contracts manager if you know his name and have a contact number give it to them, dont bother with small claims court go straight to the top get the sherrifs out, seriously, everyone should do it

What a bunch of moaning minnies. Thie is just big boys Lego. Great fun but eequires a bit of "out of the box" thinking and save money on the fitters and spend a fraction of it on some decent tools. Router, template etc.
