I don't know if it'd be in your tapes, but I'm having trouble trying to pin down a Mazda ad from the mid-2000s that talked about the 787B's Le Mans win and may have mentioned the "propaganda line" about it being 'so good they banned it the next year'. Haven't found it anywhere on YT or any of the other advertising repositories.
