For 1:28 she accidentally killed Emma's mother during surgery. In order to cover up her tracks she: "Chopped her into pieces and feed it to the dogs" and changed her name to Emily.

Its not confirmed the woman she killed was Emma’s mother. Its just an assumption the fandom made since it makes sense, but Emma’s mom was alive while Emily was working at the orphanage/asylum, she died either in an accident or due to medicine (likely not related to Emily and might actually be related to Ada), Emily didn’t purposely feed the woman she killed to dogs either, infact, she has a fear of dogs due to witnessing them eating the body she disposed of, which was also likely why she got caught

Her dad who literally made her most prized possession that she cannonically still owns(her favorite doll) was the hunter the gates work the same way as in gameplay as far as I can tell. Her probably spared her and got put into a later game and killed or experimented on by the manor owner and died in the process since that seems to be the pattern.

My father's business was destroyed thanks to a former friend, to whom his wife left... he decided to do something with himself... The mother, having learned about this, decided to do (surgery) and died terribly, never reaching her daughter. she earns her living gardening, all alone. After all this nightmare, she was destined to participate in this terrible game
