Thanks for the video, it's very interesting. Even though my experience was a bit different. Not wanting to sound like a smartass here, but it took me only 5 minutes to get a killer bass out of it. Anyway, maybe I was just lucky, or the 20+ years of experience with synths helped. Keep the videos coming!

The wasp and the cat are opposite ends. The wasp is supposedly simple to get amazing sounds out of it. While the cat is the polar opposite...you have to really dive into it to get good sounds from it.

an honest & down to earth opinion about a synth! very rare to find on youtube these days with all the sneaky payola that goes on behind the scenes with the "big personality channels"! nice one, thank you! subbed

I bought mine specifically for the electronic fart sounds, so the fact that it can gargle up some bass or sound like an analogue keyboard synth is a bonus. Plus I couldn't afford the Oddysey. But I agree this "VCO2 first back to front, turn the VCO1 Audio in Filter section" business is not intuitive and AR vs ADSR routing takes time to get used to also. I treat my B-Clones as a substitute for spending money on modulars - for a doodler like me Neutron, Cat and Crave fantastic, but if I were to recommend a B-Clone to a musician I'd say go with Model D or Pro-1 instead.

You should do more synth reviews. Your down home approach and voice is really suited for it. I really do feel your reviews would make a compelling alternative to a lot of BS reviews I’m seeing on utube that are more about the reviewers ego than an honest clear opinion on the synth itself.
