The main problem with having residency in the UK is that the General Practitioners even the Specialist are underpaid especially if you compared the salary between US and UK and the amount of years of education you put into it, maybe because NHS is centralize and under management of the government so there's a misallocation for my belief, though money is not all about in medical field however money is also something we must be concerned to knowing the cost of living and for your future self too.
@vichuang1480
@vichuang1480 3 жыл бұрын
This is simply not true. Where do you get your information? I'm a CT1 trainee (equivalent to 1st yr ph resident) and I make roughly £45k annually. That comes up to about PHP250,000 per month (yes, month). A GP makes roughly the same. You would have to be ludicrously extravagant to think this is being "underpaid". UK doctors are one of the highest paid in the world. If anything, it's the US doctors that are the outliers. And the reason they are overpaid is because of their exploitative US healthcare system.

Thank you for this video! Just one question, after I get my first job in the UK and working for a year, is getting the next job as difficult as getting the first job? Is there a situation where I finish my contract in the first job and can't find a job after that so I cannot extend my VISA and have to return to my country?
