Love your technic . The Finishing of your sock is impeccable. It motivated me to try to adjust my ribber to make your sock method. Thank you so much for sharing. I have exactly the same legare machine, would you know the name of the modele? The little plate is off mine. Also, I would be curious to learn more about the history of this modele? Year of fabrication or other information you know. Thank you for sharing your sock technique!! 🧶🧦

@@blackbeardhandmades Maybe different weight yarns for different cylinder sizes. I’m new to CSM, I have been knitting on 60 cylinder w/ribber; I recently got a ribber dial for 72 cylinder, and would love to knit with a small/lighter wt yarn, 🤷🏽♀, for like a man’s dress sock. Idk, something different to learn. I really liked the info on this video. Thx.

Thank you for this! When you stop two ribber needles after the 3 o’clock mark, is that so the ribber needles engage or disengage at the 3 o’clock mark or before it? I have a different machine so not sure if it’s the same

I start 2 needles before my actual start to smooth out the divot on the edge of the sock. By stopping at what looks like 2 needles after(where I put my thumb in the needle grove) it is actually starting at the beginning of my row.

I love the edging. Do you do some kind of finishing after you’re finished cranking the sock? I don’t understand how the live stitches are handled.

it is taken off on waste yarn and kitchenered together at the toe side, the cast on stitches are not live
