Thank you so much for this in depth video. I'm a gamer (world of warcraft) and I needed a break so I found this game and I had the basics down and then I got to a point where I was spinning my wheels. I was a dork and thought I had to open every shield in the great hall so now I have level one on all of them hahaha Not all hero's wear capes sometimes they make great videos!!

Prety sure no one will ever read this but.. This is the guideline I gave to a friend of mine for the early game: 1)Pick Kael as your starter. If you don't, you will hinder yourself. The difference is massive. 2)The number one priority you have is to 6* a campaign farmer (probably your starter). Do not make a second 5* before this. In Gigs' Let's play, he likes to make 50 5* before 6* someone; this will slow you down a lot. 3)Get your farmer in a position to farm 12-3 brutal (12-3 hard will do in the very early game). It might be worth farming for a War Maiden if you lack an AoE Decrease Defense champion, and some speed gear in campaign is fine, mainly boots. 4)Get a team going; you will need to upgrade them to 6* ASAP. So, your second priority is 5 6* champions. Do not make 8 champions at 5* (but if you need one for a very specific role, it is fine). The priority is food, food, food. 5)Now the objective is to clear level 16 dungeons. Fire Knight may be stuck at level 13. Level 16 dungeons give you a decent amount of points in dungeon tournaments, and they drop decent gear for this point in the game. Start familiarizing yourself with the dungeons mechanics, buffs, debuffs, gear sets, clan boss, etc. After that is the goals you should have when considering who to 6* next Nightmare Clan Boss -> Lvl 20 Dungeons (Most efecient farm for now) -> Ultranightmare Clan Boss parallel / after with UNM CB (If you don't have the champs and/or gear): First Hydra chest//Doom Tower normal Faction wars - start to get thse 6* materials for perception gear Some tips: The gem priority in the beginning is to get masteries for your farmer and then unlock and level up your Gem Mine. After this, it should be only energy (very, very few exceptions, i.e., I spent 900 gems to get the last shards for the guaranteed epic at the time - 2nd or 3rd month - Geomancer!!!). In the beginning, you can open a few blue shards to try your luck and see if you can get a decent champion for your dungeon team. Other than that, you should wait for the 2x events. You can try to go for an early Fragment fusion (you won't be able to complete a "Classic" Fusion - Food is for your teams at this point), but you need to stop and really think if it is possible. Shards will most likely be your downfall. That being said, the events and tournaments for new players are way easier. I managed to get Versulf in my first month because I lucked out and won a couple of tournaments (one with 400 points in spider). Remember, food is more important; to this day, the fusion is still there, and I haven't pulled him yet.

Hiding champs in the reserve vault lowers the player power (they can't wear gear which also raises player power so don't just level up everything) so it doesn't over inflate the value so that you don't get put against arena teams that are too high.

I mean let's be honest many players are idiots... The thing is, the game is actually good mechanics wise. People are just impatient or bad at the game and can't understand the mechanics and then throw hundreds or thousands at it and still see no results. There's a guy in my clan that's over 270 days into the game and he's not even hitting 20 dungeons yet because he's no idea how to build champs. On my alt I'm 45 days into the game and I'm hitting NM CB and 20 dungeons/potion keeps (couple are a bit lower, I have no heal reduction champs and I cba to wait 10 minutes for TM control to whittle down spirit keep). My accounts are both F2P. Yeah I got some decent RNG on the alt (pulled Geo and Skraank), but even without these champs I'd be doing decent. Froban/Kael are basically carrying CB for me at the mo.
