Yesterday I purchased an Aikon Automatic set with grey dial and I managed to get the AD to swap the grey rubber strap for a blue strap so really very nice...having looked at another brand AP a similar looking watch again with grey dial was £21,400.00. Now I know the Aikon isn't in the same class as the AP but my watch cost just 7.25% of the AP...that's almost a 93% discount, the question I asked myself was is the Aikon a 93% lesser quality watch than the AP, after a short time I came up with an answer and the answer to my question is No. So some will disagree but I like the Aikon, I'm happy with everything about it, in short the watch in my opinion is quite sophisticated, well engineered and has a quality feel and look about it. If you like the look of the AP but can't quite stretch to paying out the £21,400.00 ask then perhaps the Aikon is worth a look.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ also you will notice the Aikon is bit heavier and feels more solid, water resistance is 200m V 50m on the AP. Just today purchased the Aikon Chronograph with the white face and black sub dials ( panda ). Also purchased an additional black leather strap so have the option of metal or leather straps. Very pleased with the watch.

I think the Aikon is a very luxurious looking watch. Its a bold design and isn't for everyone, but I like a watch that doesn't look like everything else. And, no, I don't think it looks like a Royal Oak copy just because the bracelet is similar, because the case is very different and does resemble the design of the Calypso.

ive got the blue dial Aikon , battery version 42mm, & i love it , it looks very elegant & stylish on , even though ive got slim wrists it's still very comfortable on .

@Stephane: Please add a better in house movement (with a minimum of 48 hours power reserve) in the Blue Aikon 42mm. Add a tool free quick adjustment on the bracelet to give more comfort. Even if it would make the Aikon 42mm a little bit more expensive I still would buy it in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Very informative. I'm still loving my Pontos I picked up back in 2007. What the keyboard warrior haters who've never actually seen an ML, never mind handled one or, gawd forbid, owned one, don't get is the amazing level of finishing for the price point. Okay, it's a SW200 (or in my case ETA) movement but the case detailing and the bracelet finish is better than anything at the price point I would argue. Try to see one in person - you might be surprised. A 3 hand Aikon is definitely on my list. Thanks for the video.

Go for the 39mm it will suit you better, and make the watch look better proportionaly to your wrist

It is indeed the 42mm version. The easiest to tell the two apart of from the space between the date window and the edge of the dial/case. The 42mm also has a cut-off three o'clock hour marker, the 39 has no marker at that position.

I love the Aikon Automatic Chrono 44mm. A lot of watch for the money. The white and blue version is great but I would like to see an panda and/or a reversed panda dial. A version on a bracelet would also be nice. The date wheel/window should be the same colour as the dial. The Aikon calypso should be in blue, black and white dial versions in 43mm with steel bracelet and date window/wheel in colour of the dial.

6:28 He's saying that they could do an automatic and it took them 2 years, however, as far as I know, the Aikon doesn't have an in-house automatic movement, am I wrong?

No it's a Sellita based movement. At that price point you won't find anything in-house.

@@ramazanbaris2349 No, if you listen correctly, he said that the watch came out in 2016 as Quartz. 2 years later in 2018 they presented the Automatic version. The movement used is a Sellita that's slightly been modified. So it isn't an in-house movement.

Actually they have (i believe) 4 to 6 aikon variants with inhouse calibers already!, they are more expensive though.
