An in depth review of Vulcan anticheat

To any of you watching this looking for an AntiCheat, Vulcan is still an amazing option and i definitely recommend anyone to give it a try. This video is simply an opinion and an overall review from a person's prespective. Please do not be toxic towards Vulcan since there's simply no need. Don't forget that any anticheat has issues and over time every product improves. Nothing is perfect.

With how many negatives it had, it would've been kinda pointless to talk about the good parts. Performance was pretty good but is beaten by Alice, it has quite a few bypasses, and some of the current checks like hitboxes and aura, were made to disappoint.

@@AnticheatAlert Look in frap’s discord tho a lot of the combat checks you mentioned are already being fixed and he’s aware of the issue, he just couldn’t work on it cus he was doing an exam

You can literally use 3 timer for a hop and it takes like 30 seconds to flag 5 times on Timer D... 5 out of 40 to kick.. bruh

I recommend grim, the near perfect anticheat (for movement). Containing the whole movement source code, it won't false as easily and isn't laggy with a bunch of checks.

Vulcan is the best in my tests with a config I spent 10 hours making I called it Watchcat and I still don't know if I should release it to the public With the custom config on version 2.6.6 I got 4 bypasses on 3 clients and 1 false positive (which was lag)

Karhu in its current state is wayy better then vulcan and alice IMO

Karhu is one of the worst anticheats i've ever seen lmfao. You can literally teleport 200 blocks and you only get like 4 flags. You can also vanilla step over 10 blocks and wallclimb infinitely. There are also multiple fly's in Sigma which allow you to zoom around for over 500 blocks without getting lagged back or kicked once.

I've tested Karhu and the only thing I don't like about it, is that their killaura and aim checks are a lot worse than Vulcans. I havent tested Alice yet, so i can't give my take on that. I've also heard about a lot of false positives with the reach checks but I've never incountered them so it's hard to say they false a lot. Overall, I do believe Vulcan is better but it's probably subject to change once i test Alice...
