In DMCV you can play as Vergil. He comes with the Special Edition, or can be purchased as DLC for the standard version. For me he is by far the most fun character to play (especially when all skills are purchased), and has a really great default battle track in "Bury the Light", which I would recommend you listen to in your own time. Playing as Vergil also changes the final boss fight of chapters 19-20.

The Engine used for the cutscenes should be used for "Live Action" Adaptions because it's very if not little difficult to tell it's CGI, I got told on r/CowboyBebop it is and isnt even real when you can tell the cutscenes are real with pores, shading, textures, shadows, etc..

There is actually a DMC V manga ongoing called "visions of V" which is basically just an extended cut of the story that just adds extra depth to V and the events surrounding DMCV unlike some other failures of storytelling its not mandatory for the story but adds just that bit extra depth and pathos to the source that its worth a read. Also the art is just freaking great you can tell some things were likely taken from cut scenes or variants of em in the game and just adapted for the manga.

The reason why the Van can appear from impossible areas and looks bigger on inside than out is because of the Divinity Statue aka Idol of Time & Space, you can see the goddess in miniature form inside the Van then will ocassionally show up where you go.

Personally I have the headcanon that Nico's van is a Devil Arm like Cavaliere and you can't convince me otherwise. The fact that Agnus, her dad, was the Order of the Sword's chief alchemist and she can whip up crazy magic cyber-limbs just out of leftover bits of the bosses only solidifies this headcanon.

@@gladiatrixathena2756 The Divinity Statue creates a rift that stops time & space when you get into the Shop and you have to pay Red Orbs to get stuff so I'm certain Nico negotiates with the Goddess and trades for assistance so to get the Van to places needed.

26:27 - I mean, you can get pretty close if you start farming Red Orbs with the Dr Faust hat you unlock for Dante on Mission 13. Aside from the EX Provocation taunts, which are a whopping THREE MILLION ORBS per character, I'd say you can unlock most, if not all, of each characters' movesets by Mission 20 if you try hard enough. Not including Nero's DT moves of course, since those only become available post-game.

Hey guys! First, I just wanted to quickly say that I am a huge fan of your channel; I just how chill and relaxing it is. Secondly, to answer your questions concerning playing as Vergil in DMC 5, the answer is YES. You can absolutely play as Vergil, though I think it may only be available for the PS5 version of the game. As for Lady and Trish, you cannot play as them in DMC 5, but you CAN play as them and Vergil in a special version of DMC 4. I think the way it is structured is that you play as Lady for the Nero parts of the game and you play as Trish for the Dante sections of the game. (Don't quote me on that, I am not one hundred percent sure of that).

About Astral Chain, each time you unlock stuff like new Legions, you don’t need to go back through the previous missions just to see what you can get until after you’ve finished the main story, and even then you only do that if you want to 100% the game. If you do want to 100% the game, finish it first.
