Nah, the 130 hours makes sense fi it's total after recording everything. Remember the dog that corrupted his files? Pretty much from that point onwards it's footage from new game+, you can also tell because he's using the Godskin Peeler which you get from the Altus windmill dude.

It's less about the balance rather than the quality of work and social life just being terrible. You're going to be crunching anywhere in the games industry and to a slightly lesser extent in other creative industries. In Japan, most office jobs range between 8 to 10 hours a day like any other country but unlike other countries it's a nightmare to switch jobs in JP. Any semblance of career growth is promotion within the same company so if you're unhappy with your current workplace well good luck.
