I love that squeak of new leather too it kinda reminds me of the stairs on my grandfathers old house kinda weird but I like it and miss it

Nice, Doody ! Gorgeous GEC/Northfield barlow and a great, companion slip. A stamp punch (or center punch). Awesome matching bolster/slip flutes. Lil' mineral oil from CVS will soften and mold that slip. Thanks for the share!

That slip is truly a piece of art, just amazing how Richter was able to match the fine details! I actually just got a leather tool kit from Amazon today so hopefully I can start making some slips soon.

Just however they fit better, sometimes they like to be tip up, sometimes tip down.
