Beyond the fascinating film, the talent that has performed under this single roof in a year is mind boggling.

Enjoyed both one of the Proms earlier this year and a fantastic 10 year anniversary concert by McFly in September. My favourite venue!

Would love to attend more but tickets always go to 'touts' first. What a drag! We were there at 2.03 though.

I'm not sure that this is in chronological order. It starts in October 2012 (open to correction here), through November with the Festival of Remembrance and the Royal Variety, then through Xmas and Kooza in January.... but later on the Classical Spectacular (1:30 - 1:39) in November 2013 comes before Swan Lake (1:58 - 2:15) in June 2013. ??

I know this was posted eight years ago(!) but Classical Spectacular also ran in March that year in 2013, so it is all in chronological order.

Brilliant video, as others have said, a great venue, great acoustics, unlike the awful O2, If you really love music and the heritage, this is only place to come, plus the Hammersmith Apollo (I think that's what it's called now?) another great venue for music lovers.

The RAH is truly an amazing venue! I love the BBC Proms concerts at the RAH every year, except The Last Night of the Proms which I find uninteresting and boring.

So. I'm going to say what at least 20% of us are wondering but are too worried about being seen as uncultured to ask: What's the piece?

It's a good job the ROH doesn't belong to the BBC. They would have sold it off for housing at a loss, claiming that it is 'an analogue dinosaur in a digital age.' They would have rented an industrial unit in Wigan that was the wrong size and shape for a concert hall and claimed that this was much better than the old place and being outside London was culturally more relevant.
