I have a 18hp Walker early 1990’s with electric clutch blade, the walker has about 1000 hours. Really like it, back then it has about 20 grease points. The clutch blade gearbox went bad,$750 for new part. Lucky I got used one for $225. I really like the leafs collection it has,overall love the mower. I live in Augusta Ga. and the national (masters golf course) use it to cut some of the grass OUTSIDE of the course. They only use Walker riding mowers and Honda commercial push mower on the OUTSIDE, roadside etc. that says ALOT about this great PRIVATE FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS THAT MAKES THE MOWERS IN USA. This is a company all Americans should support. Buy made in USA.

I agree with you 100%! That says a lot when a very well known high end golf course uses them.

Nice machines. Looks like some of the deck tilts are more than a one-man job, but maybe not. They have a great collection system that doesn't add width. I have been comparing them to the Grasshopper front mounts (727T EFI) for non-collection. Cost-wise similar, good deck choices for each, cut quality comparable.

The C23i is interesting, I'm not sure where it's supposed to sit compared to the T though. It seems like it's an upgrade, but not sure why they need both?

They said it’s a simpler version of the T. I think it might have a bigger blower but otherwise it’s almost identical. Price point is about $1,000 less than the T they told me.

@@WichitayardbarberLawncare Same! The other difference I remember is that the C has Hydro Gear transmission while the T has the Eaton with the new TOPS filtration system. I’m sorry that wasn’t included in the video. It would’ve been even longer!

They are the better ones but unfortunately they don’t come on the new C23i.

Walker makes a pretty good mower but the prices have gotten out of control. That first setup is was listed at 23-25k this gie. You can buy a compact tractor with heated and air conditioning cab with front end loader for that price. The price for the high dump kit is 4-5k that is more then adding a dump insert to a pick up.

I paid just under 7k for my dump insert. I get it, the prices are crazy.

Walkers are great but so over priced, they are not worth it

It’s a brand new deck and they added a small piece which they thought would help, but clearly it did not. That deck is not even in production yet!

It's a small company and the deck wasn't even in production yet. It's a minor issue and they allowed it to be shown, whereas a larger company may very well have tried interfering and tried to cover it up. Walker is a very very honest and respectable company that doesn't play dirty like many others.
