Joe's face is amazing. It shows the good, honest guy ready to help others, the guy with a sense of humour as well as the pain and shock of being abused by the state, and the PTSD, which is very difficult to deal with and something no one understands unless they have had it. I am so glad he has been able to get his story out there because of the film.

Jo, Dinesh, I am not sure if they can help, but you should try contacting the Institute for Justice and Judicial Watch. Both fight government corruption and abuses, pro-bono as far as I known, and will not ask you for a 1/4 M retainer! These are the lawyers that make true, honest lawyers proud. If they cannot help, maybe they can point you in the right direction and find someone that can take your case and get you the justice you deserve.

This is the thing I can't get over. I'm glad his story was told. But this is one of the few people lucky enough to have his story told. What about the countless others we will never hear from, and who are far less likely to see any kind of justice on this side of Heaven?

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I DID watch religiously A Handmaid's Tale. At the time, I hadn't made the connection between the conditions suffered by the subjects in the movie and our THEN-current situation. I couldn't make the bridge between the two. NOW, I can clearly see the feasibility of such a dramatic change in the lifestyle to which we've become so accustomed.

That was amazing !!! All I wanted to do was to give him a hug. As for those power hungry cowers, they should be ashamed of themselves. This is not the Soviet Union; or is it? I don't mean to be argumentative but the main reason why the police and/or FBI cover the "Ring" camera with tape as they execute a raid is not as nefarious as people may think. Law Enforcement does not want the owner of the "Ring" camera to know that the raid is in progress. . . and the reason for that is. . . that person who is being raided and not home will not alert his associates that a raid is in progress to his property. . . because his associate's property may be next. If i am dealing drugs out of my home and Law Enforcement is conducting sweeping raids trying to prosecute drug dealers, the last thing law enforcement wants is to have one drug dealer inform another drug dealer. That is why the "Ring" camera is covered. Or that a "ring" alert will alert me to return to my home with weapons to try to stop the raid by law enforcement. Also, if you are dealing drugs or conducting another illegal activity out of your home, and if you are not home and see on your phone that your home is being raided. . . will you return home or will you flee ??? It's a secret raid, so why would you alert the owner of the home being raided ? Maybe the home owners have explosives hidden in the home that they can detonate by remote. . . and will do so when they view on their phone that law enforcement have fully entered his home. It's a safety issue.

The men who entered the apartment were not only vandals, they were kleptomaniacs. This should not be allowed. Hollywood movies and a plethora of other morally corrupt reasons have helped many to believe that unlawful behavior is acceptable by those who are hired to protect and guard us from evil.
