Got a trip lined up to Kirkwood 3/5 - 3/9 and definitely want to make the most out of it with the snow coming in. This was perfectly timed. Subscribed.

chair 11, the reut, is pronounced "root" also, mokelumne is pronounced "mo-keh-lume-neh"

I guess I forgot to change that one. I fixed "Reuter" for the Bowl in tomorrow's episode, but I forgot about this one. I thought I had Mokelumne correct though, no?

@@SRGSkiing Mokelumne is a hard one. It took me a whole year to start pronouncing it right

It's a native american word. There are a number of "umne" names throughout central California, the most known of which is Tuolumne (the Tuolumne River, Tuolumne County, Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite). There is a Mokelumne River in California (along Highway 88, which leads to Kirkwood), as well as a town named Mokelumne Hill. The umne suffix means "people" or "people of." Mokel comes from a word that means "river," so mokelumne means river people. @@random_stuff_channel
