Try threading.They take the hair out in the direction it grows so no bumps form. On top of that, they put aloe gel to soothe your eyebrows after at Zebas (if you have this place where you live). PS: my eyebrows used to break out when I got them waxed. They pull the hair in the opposite direction causing stress trauma that creates white or red bumps.

just do threading instead. waxing broke me out horribly too and now i do threading and no horrific break outs :) and threading lasts WAYYY longer.

Instead of telling her that her hair is bad, maybe leaving tips is a better idea, remember it was only her first time 1. Use gel at your roots (beeswax works best) 2. Use rubber bands to secure the sections 3. Have somebody part your hair so it's straight 4. Use the same size of hair, in each section

I do braids myself some tips I suggest is when doing box braids for the first time use some type of gel or jam that works for you hair and do the rubberband method since you’re a beginner and use jam or gel and put it on your hair and braiding hair when you’re braiding to make it look a lil more slick of a braid
