Any time I see antique and collectible vehicles I think of my Dad, who passed away in 2020. He owned a few old vehicles over the years, but I think my favourite was his Nash Metropolitan. It was a 1950s Coupe in turquoise and white, and he completely restored it on his own. He sold it almost immediately after finishing it, I think because the pleasure for him was making these old cars new again. I miss him.

I think really at the end of the day it is the customers job to prove whether something is worth the value they think. A gold plated $100 bill like that would most certainly come with certification as well as a more robust display case if it truly was pure gold.
