It was a pleasure to host you, as well as ride/race with you 😊 I can confirm that it is still just as sunny, and has been every day. Its just a lot hotter now!

Interview the race organizers, learn about and promote the other riders, share some experienced tips and lessons learned that other can benefit from, highlight which of your gear is working and what you’re looking to change out… You have so much knowledge and experience.

Love this style of racing. There's definitely a need for rallye style gravel events, especially where I live where linking enough gravel to make even a 50km route is going to be 50% road, having segments is sick.

Come up with a route and we'll smash it.

A format like the Grinduro, I like it. And proper princess gravel roads that you can actually ride (no hike-a-bike) Gongrats to a podium place Alex!👍

Great ride, it has been over 2 decades since I last saw a pick your prize payout. Way cool!

Blending blasting yourself / a segment with relaxing stops and beautiful weather / scenery looks like an ideal mix. Nice one. (Do miss the watts overlay though) 13:30 - I am a fan of the blue anodised Hope kit, it's such a great colour.

What a great format, avoiding the carnage of mass starts

Great location. When I lived and worked in Sweden, our fika was very strong black coffee that you had to put a lump of sugar in it so it was drinkable. But it was a break and everyone in the department sat together having a chat as well. Great memories.

Used to work with a group of Finns: just walking past their coffee mugs got my heart rate screaming

Im starting to think this not winning malarkey is on purpose 😉. Joking aside, nice video, looked like a brilliant race.

Oh I can tell you it’s starting to get a little frustrating. I chalked up 2 wins this week, one was a bit of an exhibition so it kind of doesn’t count, and the other I obviously didn’t make a KZbin vid from 🤦

A great video Alex. Looks a stunning place to ride your bike. Is the overall winner on accumulated Segmant time only?

Nice Video Alex..... Here in Florida @this time of year we have to start at civil twilight, 6:00am, and be finished no later than 11:00am due to the heat. I would like to try that neck of the woods one day.....

Great video and great racing! I wonder if some more aero (less flappy) gloves could have led to a big gain and the few extra seconds needed for the win? 😂
