Hey Gamma Boxer, Thanks for the feedback. It was pretty amazing to see it in person, and to see all the features up close. Going for a spin was a lot of fun too. Cheers.

My Great Uncle was a WW2 mechanic in Patton’s division. Motor pool had to work many times on Jeep’s in complete darkness as to not give away their location.

i had driven an army jeep when I was stationed in bien hoa afb 1967-68. i have always wanted a military jeep. now i have found one 1952 Willys CJ3A for $6500, not a fixer upper. i just came across this 4 X 4 Jeep Shop post on Facebook. it will be for local driving, not on freeway. i'm having difference rear axle that will beef up the ride. the club will be a great help to get more information and ask question.

This was a fun video to watch. I love the old models. I honestly thought you went to St. Thomas to see those, nice to know they are local to where you live.

Hey Dino, Wondering if you can share your opinion over something: My 2021 Jeep Wrangler WILLYS (has no lockers) and I can afford changing only one (pricey) axle at this time to add electric lockers. If it was you, would you rather have a front or rear one as a first to start with (the second one will be hopefully coming in few months - wife's approval pending 😁). Or is is a must to change both in the same time? Thanks, Nash...
@CheaperJeeperTV3 жыл бұрын
Hey AloPandur, I asked a friend in-the-know, and he said the front always! He said, "The front always has the ability to pull you over obstacles. The rear is like trying to push a wheelbarrow over obstacles." I hope that helps. Cheers.

@@CheaperJeeperTV Many thanks my friend, makes total sense... However, Mopar was explicit when I called them and said id electric locker axle are added, they both have to be done in the same time, no other way. So, another friend in-the-know suggested to put the much cheaper air lockers, or even consider the front manual ones, for those odd times when one needs to pull out of troubles... So, it will be (I do not plan to rock climb) front air/manual only...
