Amy has said in some other interviews that she has changed a lot since Fallen (and origin) so the songs from those albums don't really describe her feelings anymore. I think that's why there's nothing from origin on the album.

Still this The Open Door is their greatest. The new one has more uptempo songs which is awesome but I liked the soulfulness, depth and brooding artistry of the open door far better. I feel this new album was a bit rushed and the emotions are a bit forced.
