How is his wife Beth doing? Sending prayers for her continued healing! I appreciate so much Baxter Kruger’s teaching! Love his book: “The Shack Revisited “

I really like what he has to say about the trinity, but I think his atonement theology falls short. My friend Mako Nagasawa wrote a rather thorough research paper that surveyed the early church fathers on the atonement. He made the case that they believed sin had corrupted human nature, so Jesus took on a fallen human nature, redeemed it through perfect obedience, and destroyed the corruption through His death and resurrection. I highly recommend everyone check out Mako's stuff over at New Humanity Institute. P.S. this is like the 3rd time I've tried to comment, but it never shows up. Sorry if you're seeing a bunch.

Baxter emphasizes what the atonement ACCOMPLISHED. @13:13 Is that not the point? In order that we may RECEIVE the understanding of what’s been freely given to us?
