An Interview with Phil Johnson Executive Director of Grace To You

Grace to You exists as a resource for believers who are unable to attend Grace Community Church for any reason so that expository sermons are widely available. GTY primarily circulates resources from John MacArthur in many different forms including sermons, study guides, books, and articles. They are an affiliate of Grace Community Church and provide the same media resources for the local church as well as the universal church.
Phil Johnson is the Executive Director of Grace to You and the Founder and former Curator of The Spurgeon Archive. He is also an ordained elder and pastor at Grace Community Church. He discusses his thoughts on what was deemed essential by the government, especially in the early days of the 2020 shutdowns.

I use the gty app. Every sermon from PJM from 1970 to 2023 is there. The app is free and easy to navigate. I have listened to over half of his sermons on that site as that’s how I do my Bible study. I read the book I’m studying, I then read what his sermon will be than I listen to the full sermon. I actually heard the sermon they have in the movie over 2 years ago. We will be seeing the movie today or tomorrow in Las Vegas! Thank you PTL 🙏💖

John MacArthur's first sermon is indeed a galvanizing and divisive sermon, just as the original Sermon on the Mount itself was, dividing the sheep from the goats. and you can be guaranteed I never heard any such preaching in the polite, inoffensive, but ostensibly "Orthodox" Presbyterian so-called "Church."

Same here. We live in a small town in Arkansas, and there are no theaters showing it within 50 miles. Yet. But I ordered 2 copies last night! Thank you for selling them. There are ALOT of us who desperately want to see the movie but may not get to in a theater.

Chuck Smith has preached through the entire Bible, not just the New Testament, though I know John is not a fan of the "Jesus Freak" movement. The sermons are on the Blue Letter Bible app.
