For the past week or so I've been really enjoying a bit of Helldivers 2, and while my channel is primarily Star Citizen related I thought there was enough crossover that people might enjoy a short introduction to the game to see if it was something they might also enjoy!

I've been loving this game! The first Helldivers was already a blast, but since I'm waiting for my joystick mounts before diving back into Star Citizen this is precisely the game I was hoping to fill a void

If you're on PC, you can rebind your stratagems to the arrow keys. That way you can stay on the move and still call in the big guns.

Or, if you are smart, you bind left to left mouse button, right to right, and up and down to scroll, then you dont have to move your hand :P

plis note if you buy a battlepass you will have it forever so no missing out on the loot or mad dash for metal farming to get the loot from the pass. also also the golden pass weapons are not pay to win, simply because for instance the incendiary shotgun has half the damage of the normal version thats free. it may have fire damage, it usefull but not op. explosive damage has the function that it does splash damage that helps you take down some light/medium armored soft enemies. but its not a bring this and win weapon. currently the best weapons are from the normal pass that are breaker shotgun, slugger shotgun against bots and some bugs. and the scorcher does good damage but has very little ammo.

Also the premium pass (warbond) can be purchased with currency that can be obtained in the regular pass and found during missions

Are you playing it on PC? I heard it was having issues.

It's been having server issues all over the place, matchmaking was broken (might still be) and Arrowhead (Devs) didn't prepare for the success of Helldivers 2, their server cap of 250k was easily overrun and most players were in a queue all weekend. Now after several updates and increasing the server cap several times (currently up to 800k - edited), most of the problems have been fixed
