This was very helpful. Not knowing how to get a 3D environment map to appear was nagging me. Now if I just knew how to get it to render. Houdini is such a cerebral thrill ride.

Quality stuff! Learned a lot of stuff I've been scratching my head around. My volume light is not changing color. May be cause I'm using version 16?

double check the material that you are using. Sometimes if the material is white, the light will appear white, etc
