OMG isn't that like a super important thing? OF COURSE it SHOULD do that, so can make 'custom music' with other sounds from soft synths & whatever = this whole 'iPad' lockdown is silly. These apps should be made available for PC so we can run all that cool free software with them =) So many cool piano samplers out there free 4 instance, just amazing... could make this thing sound SOOO pro so E Z!!

Hello Jordan, I just get your new app it's fantastic. Can you tell me if there is any option to turn off quatize? I set up 16th note quantize and then I wanted to record an 8th triplet, but app did not get it. Maybe I did something wrong. Thanks in advance for your answer. Greetings from Poland.

Brilliant. IThough thought the draw mode was a bit hit and miss; the melody was okay but the arrangement seemed to jump about somehow. of course, you can choose a style, so maybe a more loose style would have worked better. And that is the point; you learn about writing styles, so essential. the most amazing app ever created.

for a musician who has no formal training, this looks fantastic! seems like an obvious question to ask, but can this do fully-involved counterpoint? in other words, could i input a basic melody and have it generate a full four-part contrapuntal harmony arrangement? some of the examples in the video are somewhat chordal - can you increase the amount of movement and specify harmony type (direction etc)? i'm interested in this for generating interesting pop vocal arrangements. if it can do that, take my money! also, do you have a suggested workflow for using this with a DAW? even if it's just used for reference, it still looks very useful indeed.

Looks incredible Jordan, as a non musician with a simple interest in just playing with a LOT of musical apps Im not sure if I would spend the AU$12.99. But I would certainly spend a couple of bucks on it even just to test it out for a few tries to experience the technology. Looking at the history of your other apps it appears you don't have too many discount sales, perhaps consider doing occasional price drops to appeal more to a much broader audience with a casual interest in musical apps, not just musicians. Word of mouth advertising will also travel much faster if you do that.

All I saw were melody-only instruments, a trumpet cant play chords, so I dont think you can play chords, after all, it is an app that creates harmony, it's awesome.

iNotice (notice my comment is better because iPut a small 'i', like iPad = so 'Progre$$ive' =) Jordan does the same type of pattern way 2 much = always the 'frill around the note' thing, like his fingers can't stay still at all = trigger fingers? & then swooshes between = so it's 'run up 2 some note' then 'fiddle around that note 2 make it 'flashy' = LOL It really gets ANNOYING after a few minutes = the whole '2 many random notes' thing, like he spent a year learning some scale 2 do it really fast & then slathers it on everything & then some =P Guess this will put me in 'blame the messenger' land but it needs 2 B said =)) Contrasting his 'random flurry of notes' with say, things on the 'New Retro Wave' channel, or early Gary Numan & others = there is a lot of 'power & entertainment value' in LIMITING the amount of notes, so the 'mood' can evolve. U can always swing into some flashy bits here & there 2 show U R a 'Big Wizzard' & all that jazz, but froox sake... not every note has 2 B shorter than a second =)) Here's a great example of a catchy simple line that anybody could do. It's about the 'feelings'. Maybe Jordan could do a rendition of it with a raging keyboard solo?? HAHA ~> kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYbRZoaAZsZ0fa8

Hi Jordan, it would appear that my comment regarding pricing (and suggestion of an occasional sale price) was removed from this video for some reason. My feedback was based on my own personal purchasing habits as a non musician but as someone who does purchase musical apps quite often for fun (someone I suspect you want to target). I understand that you have the right to remove comments and price your apps as you see fit but my comment wasn't negative, it was constructive and suggesting a way to get more sales from people like myself. I have also been promoting your product to a few muso friends personally and via facebook who would likely purchase your product but I have to say that removing posts like mine is not good PR. Incidentally, one of my music teacher friends also suggested that the software would be great for his juniors to check out but balked at the pricing a little (I know $13 is not a lot, but its more than some customers are prepared to pay). Good luck with your brilliant app but remember to listen to your potential customers.
