An Introduction to Lolita Fashion

The language of fashion: clothes can say a lot about a person. And understanding what those clothes are and what they communicate can help us understand other people better.
This video is sort of a lolita fashion 101. I go over key elements that make this style unique and to help those that aren’t familiar with it to understand and recognize it. I also talk about the historical significance of the fashion, why it’s important, and how it has impacted my life. I hope you enjoy!

Your sibling is so adorable! I love that there are still people out there that wear Lolita! I was part of the egl community on live journal around 15 years ago, and I felt it was a very popular style back then so I’m glad to see people still wearing it now! I'm happy to see people still talking about lolita fashion. I remember it being big 15-20 years ago. I had several friends who were into the lolita variations and it was always a lot of fun. And this was before a lot of those online shops started popping up 😆
