An Introduction to Nowcasting with Satellite Data

This video introduces the topic of nowcasting and the role satellite products can play. The use of GOES satellite products is highlighted through examples including RGB composite imagery, single channel imagery, geostationary lightning mapper (GLM) and mesoscale sector scans. This video may benefit anyone interested in nowcasting and the important capabilities provided by satellite products.
