I am a software developer. Example, I've developed an application, it has a SQL Server database. I move the database to Azure SQL database and deploy the app to an Azure VM which accesses the Azure SQL database. Can I use Azure AD for both my EEs and my public users of this app????? No Office 365 in this example at all. I just want to control ID and authentication using your product.

totally non-sense. Hashing is one way encyption or hashing. It is hashed and cant be reversed but. There is bigger misinformation. That on premise server cant be secure. Yes it is. Linux has encoding password since beginning.
