Iz*one is actually a huge girl group in the back day. I missed them but it's nice to see them grow now own their group's and solo's. ❤

Survival shows like Produce makes temporary groups were companies send their trainees to participate and get exposure. If they win, they promote in a group for a period of time and then return to their companies, is not meant to be a permanent group as other shows. Izone was particular bc it also got members from the japanese girlgroup AKB48 (from were Sakura was part of) and promoted in both Korea and Japan. It was very successful and you may known other idols that were part of izone like Yujin and Wonyoung from Ive. Le sserafim is a interesting case bc they were the first Hybe girlgroup so they wanted to secure the group success recruiting some izone members. And Yunjin had already been a Pledis trainee (now Hybe own Pledis) so they call her too. But it’s not common for the big companies to do that bc they just have their own trainees and don’t need the exposure of a survival show like produce, normally they make their own survival shows for permanent groups

@@ca_lsrfcase in point illit is the twice of hybe survival show permanent 7 year contract. Also, rare opportunity Kepler got yo continue past their og contract. Missing two members but I think it was only possible because most of the girls came from not well known companies so the shares they get for their idol is helping them.

the show produce 48 was a collaboration BETWEEN HKT48 ( Japan ) and a previous show called Produce 101 ( Korea) so together the new Show produce 48 with Japanese and Korean trainees, So Sakura ( JAPANESE ) and Chaewon ( KOREAN) were part of the 12 members of the group. 9 Korean members and 3 japanese members. the group was Called I Zone. the contract was only for 2 1/2 years. after they joined Le SSERAFIM. YUNJIN was also in the show but she did not make the group. she was eliminated in the semi -final.

Yes, in Kpop there are many idols like Sakura and chaewon who end up debuting in several groups, if the contract with their previous group ends or if they disband. IZ*ONE was a South Korean-Japanese K-pop group formed in 2018 through the program Produce 48. It was composed of 12 members (9 Korean and 3 Japanese) and was managed by Swing Entertainment and Off the Record in Korea, and AKS in Japan. they where so popular back then.

The group Chaewon and Sakura was in was a project group made from a competition called produce 48 Yunjin participated as well but didn’t make it that’s why they all knew eachother but the other 2 members were completely new to them, Kazuha was a ballerina for 15 years before becoming an idol and Eunchae was the last to join them and now they’re one of the if not the best girl group in the world also please put part 2 on KZbin as well

You definitely have to check their performances at the year end awards events especially during Antifragile era in 2022. My recommendations are “Melon Music Awards” and “SBS Gayo DAEJEON” in 2022 as well as MAMA awards last year. They are on the different level, presented something more than K-POP. Just amazing!

Produce 48 was a 2018 Korean reality competition show where the public voted for the members of a new girl group. The show brought together 96 contestants from South Korea and Japan, including 39 idols from an active Japanese Idol Group called AKB48 (where Sakura took part as one of the members) and its sister groups, and 57 trainees from several different companies from Korea. The public voted for the group's name, concept, debut single, and the final 12 members. The winning group was promoted for two years and six months. (Meaning it was a project group) The final group was named "Iz*One" (top 12 participants) and was announced during the finale on August 31, 2018. They were a K-pop group promoted mainly in Korea and Japan. The 3 of 5 members from LE SSERAFIM participated in this show before becoming LESSERAFIM. Sakura as a member of AKB48, Chaewon as a trainee from Woolim Entertainment, and Yunjin as a trainee from Pledis Entertainment participated in Produced 48. Sakura placed 2nd and Chaewon placed 10th, so they debuted and were promoted as Iz*One members from 2018 to 2021. After the disbandment of Iz*one, Hybe called both Sakura and Chaewon to join LSF. This means that it is Sakura's 3rd debut as LSF (AKB48, Iz*one, and LESSRAFIM) and Chaewon's 2nd debut. (Iz*One and LE SSERAFIM). However, Yunjin got eliminated before the semi-final and placed 26th so she went back as a trainee after the show. After Produce 48, Yujin missed several debut opportunities so she went back to the US and actually planned to go to college. (She even got accepted to a couple and paid a tuition deposit for one of them!) But then Hybe called her back to join LSF and the rest is history :) *Fun fact: Wonyoung and Yujin from IVE were also members of Iz*one.

izone is not the Japanese group. It’s from a survival show Produce 48 and there’re both japanese members and korea members (voted by the public). The Japanese group Sakura was in is called AKB48. That’s before she took part in Produce48.

BTW the video talks about "official positions" but LSFM doesn't actually have official positions. They are all vocalists, they all rap, and they all dance to a very high standard

react IZ*One pls. The group is active in both Korea and Japan but mainly in Korea. This group is truly a legend of gen4 (you can see their journey through the clip A story of IZ*One - the last produced group of Rice Squad channel) after disbanding they are still close to each other. The members are having their own careers: -Sakura and Chaewon re-debuted together in Le Sserafim -Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin re-debuted together in IVE -Hitomi re-debuted in SayMyName -Kim Minju she is currently an actress -Kang Hyewon she released a single EP before focusing entirely on acting -Choi Yena she is a soloist -Jo Yuri she is a soloist and actress (appears in Squid Game 2) -Kwon Eunbi she is currently a soloist and actress -Lee Chaeyeon she is a soloist -Yabuki Nako she is currently an actress and MC ❤❤❤

Great intro video. I have only been a fan for just over a year because I happened to see them live in los angeles at the blizzcon convention. Live is the best way to find a new group. I missed their coachella performance last year though. Every song is great, impurities is my favorite MV and choreo, love Eve, psyche and the bluebeard's wife and they are coming back apparently with a new album in april. Great channel here, since I am a le sserafim fan. I see though you are missing out on Mamamoo, they are known for being the best live vocalists, so much so they were the very first killing voice, so check that video out. Chaewon did do a duet with Moonbyul at a mamamoo concert before le sserafim, She is my bias in this group, she has some covers as well, I suggest first love, which is a Hikaru Utada song from japan.
