There’s only two possible outcomes- a genuine two-state solution, or a single, bi-national state, with full equality for all citizens, including Palestinian citizens. The actions of the settler movement are increasing the likelihood of the latter outcome. But sustaining the occupation (dual occupation, really: military and settler) is not sustainable in the long run, as more and more Americans are going to be unwilling to support this financially. And without American aid, Israelis will be forced to bear the full burden of this occupation. I don’t think most secular Israelis, living within the sovereign territory of Israel (the 1967 borders) will be willing to sustain that cost.
