In defense of bowtie pasta, try it fried and dipped in marinara. Parboil them for a few minutes until JUST cooked, then fry them in your choice of oil until golden brown, toss with salt, pepper, herbs, and parmesan cheese while still hot. Literally the only format in which I've enjoyed bowtie pasta.

whats weird about your list is that, here in the states thin spaghetti IS vermicelli. in Italy, though, vermicelli is thicker than spaghetti. i prefer vermicelli to spaghetti bc spaghetti is too thick, but angel hair (aka capellini) is TOO thin & easily overcooked. ditallini is a great pasta for pasta salad. & fideo is used in a soup in latin american cultures, like mine. your opinions are interesting, though. i think calamata deserves to be in F tier though on account it reminds me of calamari, & again, vermicelli & fideo go up to, like, B tier bc i use them for what would be spaghetti & sopa fideo respectively. small shells are B tier for macaroni & cheese purposes. i dont think id move anything else. also, egg noodles are just fortified with egg, but they still use flour. so ofc they contain gluten. rice doesnt have gluten, though
