Thank you so very much for this. I remember being 10 years old and seeing the original broadcast production of Riverdance and my favorite parts were always Anuna; been following and mesmerized since. Unfortunately too shy to join a choir but I sing along with all the videos.

Same here, my takeaway from Riverdance was Anuna who then spawned an interest in trad and vocal. Seing Anuna live in the USA at Christmas time some years ago is a memory that lives in my brain.

The Music 🎶 of Anuna is sublime!! They make the most secular song sound spiritual, and other worldly... I never tire of listening to the music of Anuna🍀

Ever since I found this video, this has been my workday background track on repeat while I develop software. My favourites are the first song (Ellie's solo, I love her voice, also in the video A Whisper of Paradise), the third song (Fergus' solo), 'Fill, Fill a Rún Ó' (feat Ava, love her voice, too) , and 'Na Coille Cumhra'. Those three last ones are kind of funny, since I don't know the language :)

It feels so deeply heartfelt, physically and vocally true, and rooted in the most sincere knowledge and recognition of something about Ireland, that it places this music among the most powerful and beautiful ever. Thank you for it.

Extraordinary experience Michael! This video is breathtaking! I feel like I have gone back thousands of years, and the Celts just reached Hibernia/Ireland! (Like the Riverdance narrator says about coming out of sea, to stand on the land we will call home. I get goosebumps when I see this Anuna movie!) I'm going to have to watch and listen to this many times to feel the full effect! Thank you Michael and Anuna for this evocation film! This is The culmination of all that Anuna has done in Ireland; and what Anuna has done For Irish culture! God bless you🙏 Michael and Lucy, and your family , and God bless🙏 Anuna choir members, and Happy New Year 2023!🥳 From ChrisB aka Criostoir Briartach🦋 And as you know, I'm #LoveCelticWoman all over the internet!,🥰

this was so indescribably beautiful, ethereal... since hearing you all for the first time as a 9th grade choir student (almost 10 years ago!), singing your songs and falling in love with them, anúna holds a very special place in my heart. thank you for all your hard work❤

Wonderful, thank you Michael McGlynn and ANÚNA and the others. Would love to go to Ireland, to a coast and the untouched nature, after seeing this beautiful scenery that was shown in the film. The song ''Fill, Fill a Rún ó'' was touching, one could hear the sorrow in the melodies. ''Hinbarra'' was interesting, with it's fast words. How nice that you included a Finnish song to the end, let's hope for a Swedish one the next time? The Sámi people up in northen Sweden sings Jojk, it's an ancient type of singing, heard of it? Regards/Myra

Why is every song so sad and mournful? This is the Christmas season still. But even if it wasn't, these songs are depressing. Very skilfully performed, yes.

In answer to your question, not every song is, so your question is void. If you would like to ask another question that maybe isn't just off the top of your head we are happy to answer.

The name of this season is "winter", which to many people is a time of introspection and reflection. Not all of it is sad. If that makes you uncomfortable, that's something you have to deal with yourself.
