Has anyone asked if being in a human made environment CAUSED the cancer? Or was it exposure to things like pollution dumped into rivers then oceans which might've caused the potter's cancer too?

16 is pretty old for an otter, even one in captivity. She's already lived longer than the majority of otters in the wild. If her environment caused cancer, it would have appeared long before an advanced age of 16.
