an offering to the sea

The last couple of months were spent in places very dear to me.
This was an afternoon in Koh Tao in Thailand; my birth country. After two years of heavy touring, a break in the motherland was needed to recharge and return stronger. During this break, I had a strong urge to play for the sea. In many ways, it was a conversation between the music and waves.
The piece above was an improvisation in Raag Bhimpalasi.
