What you said really connected with the 'Rover' album. Actually, the album includes a B-Side track that resonated with the social media concept you mentioned "Black Mirror". Yes, its also connected to the Black Mirror series from Netflix but fundamentally, its about seeing the reflection of yourself when you close your phone screen (thus appearing a Black Mirror) after seeing all the glams and glows of Social media. Apart from this, Rover MV also contains the artistry of ballet because of his dancing background. Not sure if you know but KAI became passionate about dancing after starting out in ballet at the age of 8. Then, evolve into the idol he is today. For me, this is such a reggae bop such like KKBop~! I just wish he would've incorporated some ballet moves into the choreo to align with the ballet dancers XD. Anyway, thank you for reacting to EXO's members! You're one of my fav KZbinrs that I turn to whenever the members have a comeback since I love to hear your professional opinion~!!!

This is actually a remake of the original. The artist, Dara, first had this song titled "Mr Rover" and she sold it to SM. She even helped them to reconstruct the song to fit Kai's, I don't know, style I guess. 😅😊

Some people came at me cuz i gave this info under different reaction video, altho i stated that Kai did way better job than the original singer, and i'm a huge fan of him (and whole EXO actually). They blamed me for throwing shade or something cuz of my nicknam. Guess they never heard a term called "multi stan" 🤦🏻😂😂

Took you long enough...but spot on Thina...that was Kai's explanation of the song, and the next song in the album follows that theme too...how we all are so engrossed in social media that we aren't paying attention to life,,and if you do listen to albums on your own time, you'd really groove to the songs on this one. He tries different sounds that work with his voice and sounds so good. The production is amazing. And when you listen to the album, yes Kai went there, with a s*x song Slider...well he is a grown ass man after all...but so good, I found a loop of it on yt, so groovy.
