David Porter served in III Corps, South Vietnam, 1969-1970, as a Huey pilot, an executive officer and, for several months as an OH-6 (Loach) scout pilot. In that role, he flew about 200 combat missions. He shares memories of that combat service. In 1995, Porter retired from the US Army as a colonel.
