Hi Jordan, I take my hat off to the gentleman for building his dream home, this really was a labor of love. I bet his heating bills were massive in a place that size. What a great place for $5.00. Great vlog Jordan.

At the start of the tour, the amount of years he spent building his castle seemed like an amazingly long labour. But once you had taken us all around the site - we were really surprised at the scale of his ambition. An amazing labour of love. Many thanks Jordan for making this interesting and unusual roadside stop.

When I was a teenager me and my friend Russell would hang out with Harry and listen to his stories about how and where he gathered stones for his Castle, and how he saw the end of the rainbow on his property. He used to have a marker in the spot, tons of stories, a very interesting man....I'm now 58 if that gives you any perspective of the time frame...

I went there with some friends in the late 70's. There were other tourists there. The dude who built it let me and my friends in his office but locked the door behind us. We had a nice chat. He totally ignored the other people trying to get in. He directed our attention to a jar on his desk with a piece of paper taped to it that said "college fund." He explained that it was for a relative (a nephew as I recall). We put some money in the jar. Seemed like a nice guy .

I live 13 miles from the Loveland Castle and I actually met Harry many years ago before he sadly passed away in 1981; he was a fascinating man just like the castle he built ; we still go back to visit his castle because it's basically in our neighborhood I think it's a great place for people to explore because Harry was a genius ! I believe he had a IQ of 180; it's obvious of the intricate castle he built the circular ceiling in his bedroom he was told it could not be possible to build and he did it and he slept under it for many years and it's still there. Thanks for going and doing a Vlog on the Loveland Castle; Sir Harry Andrews fascinating.creation!

Hey Jordan! I loved this video. What an incredible place. I have never heard of it and have been down Cincinnati way often. My dad's side of the family is from North Bend/Cleves area just west of Cincinnati and lived and farmed The Point Farm (North Bend) there where President William Henry Harrison and President Benjamin Harrison are from. I believe that area is also the site of the first stagecoach or railroad robbery in the United States. That whole area has so much charm and history.
