An old American 12” desk fan vs an old English 12” desk fan: Which is better?

I love the look of the old English fan, I like the American fan since you can mount it on the wall.

@almightyian I agree with those statements. Not sure why limit chose to not put wall mounting features on their fans considering the other British manufacturers did lol. But it gives the GE bonus points
