"An Organized Life" from Vanities, A New Musical
Rachel Lischin, Rebecca Brown and Helene Tjoumakaris from Mainland Regional High School received the NJ Governor's Award in Arts Education for Best Musical Group from NJ Thespians in 2021.
RACHEL'S BIO
Rachel Lischin is a senior at Mainland Regional High School, and is ecstatic to have received a superior ranking at the New Jersey Thespian Festival in her musical theater group. Rachel is a Drama and Forensics team captain, the Drama Club’s Treasurer, and the newly instated Thespian Honor Society Troupe 6657’s Co-President. She would like to thank her advisor, Mrs. Sannino for all of her help through the process of being inducted and competing in the Thespian Festival.
REBECCA'S BIO
Becky Brown is the president of her class and student representative to the Board of Education. She has a passion for giving back, but also for performing. She is a captain of her school’s drama and forensics team and has won three state titles in the league. She became a member of the Thespians Society her senior year and has loved being able to perform again with her friends before she graduates.
HELENE'S BIO
Helene Tjoumakaris is the President of her Drama Club and the Vice President of her Thespians Honors Society Chapter. Helene jumps on any opportunity to sing, dance, or perform. Helene is a Captain of her school’s Drama and Forensics League where she has received the State MVP Award. She is also a varsity athlete in both track and cheerleading. While she enjoys keeping her schedule busy, her favorite place to be is at rehearsal with all her friends.
