Always enjoy your videos and find them very informative. I have been a fundamental independent Baptist for 43 years and your description is very accurate. I have an interest in other denominations and the basis for their beliefs. While I may not agree with those beliefs, I do respect them and always try to maintain an open mind. Having been a life long Presbyterian I would refute your stressing Predestinations as being the most core belief , ie election. I think I would say Predestination falls within an overreaching general Calvinist view of our faith journey. To single it out is to just raise for some an issue of belief beyond its general place in the Reformed Calvinist belief system.

I myself tend to lean more towards the Baptist denomination. They can call themselves, and believe and worship God however they choose, as long as it's biblical. But the question still stands, are they truly born again, are they truly a new creature in Christ Jesus. Have they been washed and cleanse in the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and has their name been written in the Lamb's book of life. Do they wake up, go through out the day, and go to sleep thinking about the Lord Jesus.

Sadly, many are not but think theyare. The fill thar if they believe in the death, buriL, and resurrection alone then they're saved. the devils believe that and tremble. Salvation happens for those that obey the gospel, that Gospèl is repentance, warer baptism in Jesus name and recieving the Holy Spirit. The reason tbat it's more than just believing is that God wants not just to forgive us of our sins, he wants to adopt us. Jesus, in John ch. 3 told Nicodemus that, " Ye must be born agaIn of water and Spirit or you can not. enter the kingdom of heaven" Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is being " born of water" and Spirit baptism is " born of the Spirit". Jesus also said that "God gives the Holy Spirit to those that ask.

I wish I could combine my favorites LOL! I'm United Methodist but my church is more conservative - the pastors are conservative at mine and the community itself that formed this particular church is/was conservative though the denomination itself varies like you said. the church is now in a big division :-( I love liturgy and symbolism, the old hymns, some of the contemporary, love some of the catholic traditions though can't get into worshipping mary and praying to dead saints but love reading about the saints..love the holy communion of the Methodist church- open communion and Christ is present but we don't worship the actual bread and grape juice.. and I really miss some of the charismatic elements from the nondenominational church I attended for a while. my church isn't against them but most worship a little more calmly LOL! a few of us raise our hands during the contemporary service though!

I do not know what is written on paper as far as doctrine goes, but having been saved in the Southern Baptist church I cannot understand what is said about them and once in grace always in grace. I remember numerous times during alter call that the preacher would say "are there any here tonight that have not been living as they should and would like to REINSTATE their faith in Christ."And I will say they do/or had one of the best alter calls. Something I found missing in some of the Church of God and similar churches.

Grew up Pentecostal. Left it. Lutheran now. Ironically, the Holy Spirit worked thru the Lutheran liturgy and preaching of the Gospel to keep me in church. One thing - Lutheran’s absolutely believe that we receive Christ’s true body and blood in communion. We don’t believe transubstantiation, which is essentially Rome’s explanation of HOW Christ is present in communion.

The first 1000 years there was only one apostolic church, and until 16th century there was two. Then came the Protestantic Reformation that taught Sola Scriptura; Bible Alone. This teaching says that we only need the Bible - nothing more, nothing less - to know everything we need. This teaching also says that everybody, lead by the Holy Spirit, can understand what the Bible teaches. Well, after this a slow explosion of new denominations happened. Today we have over 30 000 different churches. To me, this shows the Sola Scriptura teaching to be wrong. The Anglican (later Catholic) John Henry Newman said when reading about the Early Church “To be deep in history, is to cease to be a Protestant.”
@hullie7529
@hullie7529 4 жыл бұрын
@@mikkis668 Sola scriptura is a stupid belief because nowhere in the Bible does it say that you should only follow the Bible, so the basis of their theology is already unbiblical. In fact early Christians had no Bible whatsoever.

For over 1000 years there was only one church, the Catholic Church. Oriental Orthodox did exist within that time but it was small, practically everyone else was Catholic Eastern Orthodox came with the split but then for over 500 years you had stability on each side Things didn't get crazy until the "reformation" where they all interpreted the scriptures differently and created all of these different groups If anything protestantism is wrong with all of its inconsistency and faulty foundations

I’m an Episcopalian, and some of what you said is true. Most typical Episcopalians would believe that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ, but we typically would not define that like the Catholics do. We take the Orthodox approach by calling it a Mystery of the Faith. We are Anglicans but we are not a part of the Church of England. We have roots in that church body but broke off because of the American Revolution. While we respect the Archbishop of Canterbury as the head of the Anglican Communion, he is not the head of our church. We are governed by a House of Bishops with our own Presiding Bishop. Our current PB is Michael Curry. We are in communion with one another and both the CofE and TEC are members of the global Anglican Communion, which is the third largest body of Christians in the world. Most Episcopalians would not like to be classified as Protestant because our reformation was political, not theological. King James I & IV commissioned the KJV. King James was indeed a staunch Anglican and wanted his new translation to replace the Bishop’s Bible as the liturgical Bible read from the pulpit. 400 years later his translation is still being read. Our order of service comes from the Book of Common Prayer which was written for the most part by Thomas Cranmer, the first Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury.

@@tez817 You are the Church according to the scriptures. There is NO Bible scripture that says a person has to attend or belong to a building called a church. So if you decide not to attend a church building, that's your choice or decision. Jesus didn't say you had to join a church in order to belong to the body of Christ. However, the word of God tells believers "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together(Hebrews 10:25)". One doesn't have to be confined to a building in order to fellowship with other believers. There are several ways one can fellowship with others, for example: 1) in person 2) group 3) over the phone 4) on internet And any other ways you can think of to promote Christ, not man.

I can definitely say the Methodists pretty much run the gamut from left to right, having grown up in several United Methodist churches. The more leftward side and the more rightward side are at each other's throats - I suspect we're not going to have a United Methodist Church for much longer. My father is Antiochan Orthodox, but most of my family is United Methodist (and I kind-of inherited it by osmosis). Every true believer has eternal security. God saves the sinner u don't save urself. God causes u 2 be reborn. If God makes u a new creation in Christ he will finish his work. If u say ur saved yet still live a life of sin then ur not saved or u need 2 cast off ur sin. If ur truly born again u will most definitely want 2 live a holy life to please God because it's his SPIRIT in u that will cause u to loath sin and seek righteousness. Pastor Steve. You should know better. In your segment on the Catholic Church, you stated that a priest says "Abacadabra" over bread and wine and it changes into the body and blood of Our Lord. That is a popularized magic incantation and I'm shocked to hear it applied to the liturgy of the Church. Would you like to know what a Catholic priest actually says over the bread and wine when the Church teaches that a change occurs? He says: "For when the hour had come for him to be glorified by you, Father most holy, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end: and while they were at supper, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU." Just a bit different from "Abacadabra," no? If you were in my area, I would love to invite you to mass and show you how the entire service, from start to finish, is saturated with scripture and the rich heritage of the Jewish Old Covenant rituals fulfilled in the New Covenant. You might be surprised. Peace to you sir. Thanks for your bible videos.

DJ Corner Amen to your comments!! I equally was a bit shocked, but not totally surprised by a man who represents himself as a preacher to belittle the universal church, other Catholic Christians by making such demeaning remarks as “abracadabra”. I’m frankly embarrassed and appalled for him in making that suggestion!! I’ve been open to listening to his reviews yet that is where I know I mark my boundaries of being insulted as a fellow Catholic! That’s truly unkind and shameful to say!

They can't all be right, but they can all be wrong. They are all creations of men who seriously believed they could set up a better church than the one that Jesus built. Take a good look at the church that Jesus built. See the baptised being added to it in Acts chapter 2. Read the rest of the New Testament and find out for yourself what the members of that church were expected to believe and how they were expected to worship. Then, when you know the truth about the church that Jesus built, go and find the church that is doing those things even today. God will bless you if you seek Him in earnest. Don't settle for ANY denominational church.

Pastor i have listening and enjoying your videos. I have been apostolic pentecostal since '78. I was called to teach and have been studying the Word and comparing it to the original koine greek. In the last six months the Spirit has shown me something that i never realized before. The main reason i'm writng to you is because what i see doesn't line up with apostolic doctrine and i need some feedback from you. In Acts ch.2 and in 1Cor.ch.12, 14, the word "tongues" in the original greek means " a language". Three times, in Acts ch.2., after the believers recieved the Holy Spirit and spoke in " tongues", the men in the crowd said " How hear we them in our own languages?" I believe the apostles were speaking in the same angelic language we did when we recieved the Holy Spirit and ,as a sign to the the unbelieving jews in the crowd, God allowed them to " hear" what was being said in their own languages. But the apostles, and other believers, were all speaking in one angelic language. I believe that the plural usage of " tongues", in the English translation doesn't mean a plurality of earthly languages, but a plurality of believers speaking one angelic language. It's not a salvation issue but it is in opposition to apostolic pentecostal understanding of Acts ch.2. What do you think pastor? I'm called to teach, i can't teach and exclude Acts ch.2.

@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa I know Paul refers to it as the " tongue of angels" plus we know that when we pray to the Lord in " tongues" it's not english or a language of this world. It stands to reason that because the Lord is about "Oneness" and that the angels and the Lord speak the same language, that His Spirit filled children should speak the same language. The only time, in this world, that it can be translated is in the church as the gift of speaking in " tongues" is operating and a believer with the gift of interpretation interprets it. But it's not an earthly language that he's interpreting. The language we speak as a result of recieving the Holy Spirit doesn't need interpretation, as you know pastor, it is also our prayer language for self edification. The Word says that it is also a sign to unbelievers. How so ? Because they hear us speaking in " tongues" but hear and understand it in their language. Look at Acts ch.10, for the skeptical jewish brethren to have been convinced that the gentiles were not speaking in an earthly language that they could have learned beforehand, It had to be a distinct language that sounded just like what they spoke at Pentecost. Peter said," They have recieved the Holy Spirit just as we did ".

You misunderstand the message of Romans 6. I can summarize it with the 1st couple and last couple of verses. Rom 6:1 What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favour increase? Rom 6:2 Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? This very clearly states, that we have now been set free from the bondage of sin. This is what Yahusha came for. We see that in the last verses of Rom 6. Rom 6:22 But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Elohim, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the end, everlasting life. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master. The gift our Messiah brought is not a license to sin, but to be free from sin. That is why He said things like: Joh 8:11 And she said, “No one, Master.” And יהושע said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” Go and SIN NO MORE. Our Messiah is not a liar. And he says we have to be perfect: Mat 5:48 “Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the heavens is perfect. I repeat myself, our Messiah is not a liar. Therefore it must be possible for us to be without sin. Our Father does not hear sinners: Joh 9:31 “And we know that Elohim does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desire, He hears him. But He only hears those who does His desire. You know Christians believe it to be impossible to be without sin. Well for Christianity it is, because they get taught to disobey His Word. Let me explain: You do not keep the commandments, because you disobey them. To be without the law, you are lawless. And Sin is lawlessness: 1Jn 3:4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. This is what Yahusha has to say to those who disobey His Laws: Mat 7:23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’ If you truly knew the desire of the Father, you would obey His Commands: You might think you do, but you don’t, because we who know Him, guard His Torah: 1Jn 2:3 And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. 1Jn 2:4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. The love of Elohim comes to those who walk as Yahusha walked. 1Jn 2:5 But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 1Jn 2:6 The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. When Yahusha said He fulfilled the law, again that is not the right to disobey His Law. But the power that we receive from Him to overcome sin and to obey Torah. The fact He died, washed away our sins by His blood, and overcoming death when He rose again and ascended to be with the Father. We only receive His Spirit when we obey His Word. AND we can receive the Father’s Spirit if we love Him and obey His Word: Joh 14:23 יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. You believe you are a sinner, and the Messiah lives in you. You fool yourself, because Neither the Father nor the Son CAN live in a sinner. 1Jn 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that Elohim is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth. 1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin. Go read for yourself 2 Cor 6:14-18

@@mauricewilsondaddybob1307 You don't understand the ministry of Yahusha Messiah and which is also the ministry Paul/ Shaul had to continue with. An understanding of the two houses is essential to understand Scripture. The Scripture is all about Yahuah the Father and His Son Yahusha. AND the people of Yisrael. That’s it! Not the gentiles. Yahuah’s people Yisrael are the seed of Abraham and the 12 tribes of Yisrael(which is all of Yisrael) from Yaqo’ob(Jacob). Yisrael persistently disobeyed Yahuah and Yahuah warned He will punish them. But they continued in their idolatry and Yahuah split the children Yisrael (12 tribes) into two Houses, Yisrael and Yahudah. He gave them a certificate of divorce: Jer 3:8 “And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Yisra’ĕl had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yahuḏah did not fear, but went and committed whoring too. The house of Yahudah consisted of the tribes of Yahudah, Benyamin and some Levites(for the priesthood). And the House of Yisrael were the left over 9 tribes and Levites(for the priesthood). They continued in the sinful ways and Yahuah punished each house with their punishment. The Southern tribes(the House of Yahudah) were exiled to Babylon in 605- 586 BCE and a remnant returned to Yahrushalayim in 536 BCE. These were the Jews present when our Messiah Yahusha walked the earth. The northern tribes were punished 390 years, and Yahuah warned them if they continue in their sinful ways He will increase their punishment with 7. And this He did. They were exiled to the Assyrian lands in 721 BCE. When our Messiah Yahusha came to earth, He came for the lost tribes of the House of Yisrael. He did not come for the gentiles or pagan. But His people Yisrael were scattered amongst the gentile nations. That is why He said: Mat 15:24 And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ĕl.” Yahusha told His disciples not to go in the way of the gentiles, but to go seek find and return the lost tribes of Yisrael: Mat 10:5 יהושע sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Shomeronites, Mat 10:6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ĕl. This was also the mission for the Apostle Shaul/Paul. So what you will find, many Christians are of the lost tribes of Yisrael spread over the world. Also Yahudim/Jews. That is why James said: Jas 1:1 Yaʽaqoḇ, a servant of Elohim and of the Master יהושע Messiah, to the twelve tribes who are in the dispersion: Greetings. All of Scripture applies, not just the writings of Shaul/Paul. Even Shaul said to Timmothy: 2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, 2Ti 3:17 that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work. Yisrael is not the people who live or are born in Yisrael. Yisrael means “overcome with EL”. Those are the Hebrews, which means “to cross over”. As a child of Yahuah, obeying His Commands, you overcome with Elohim and cross over to a Torah observant lifestyle. Your entry permit to spend eternity with Yahuah, is the obedience to His Commands. Rev 22:14 “Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city. There are no gates for Christians, Islam, Buddhist or atheist. But only for the children of the 12 tribes of Yisrael: Rev 21:12 and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra’ĕl:

Can I ask you a few questions. Does the Creator have a Name, if so, what is it? Scripture asks this question! Pro 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it? What does it mean when Scripture tells us to keep the Sabbath? Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. Who was born the 25th of December, and why do you celebrate it? How do you get 3 days and 3 nights from Good Friday to Sunday? Mat 12:40 “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Aḏam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

@Kile Hi Kile, I like the way how you make your case with Scripture. That is really the only way. So I ask you will read what I say, because I too use Scripture to prove my point. I am sure you will agree that the only goal the devil has for himself, is too deceive as many as he can of the followers of the Father and Son. And one way he did this, is by changing the Scriptures by translation errors. I can go on about translation errors, but maybe another time, as the issue of this reply is on the Sacred Name of the Father and the Son. I suggest you Google the Sacred Name of the Creator, in the Dead Sea Scrolls. This is absolute authentic way to determine the true Name of the Father and Son. You will see the paleo/ancient Hebrew in there, and it corresponds to the Aramaic (the Hebrew dialect our Messiah spoke when He was on earth). This is the post Babylon or modern Hebrew(square text). Having done that, let me explain what happened. Our Father gave us the 10 commandments, and He said the following about His Name: Exo 20:7 “You do not bring the Name of יהוה your Elohim to naught, for יהוה does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. The Hebrew word for “naught” is to “shavah”. This mean to bring to nothing or taking out of use. By not using/calling the Father by His Sacred Name, you are taking it out of use, and so bring it to naught. And that is what Satan did, he took Father’s Name out of the Scripture through translation, and so every worshipper following the Bible, reads a pagan name for His name. Yahuah/YHWH warned us in Scripture this would happen: Jer 23:27 who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My Name for Baʽal. “Ba’al” which is Hebrew, translated to English is “Lord”. Here is a dictionary meaning for you: Baal. "The name of many deities of the Semitic peoples" [Klein], late 14c., Biblical use is from Hebrew Ba'al , literally "owner, master, lord," fromba'al "he took possession of," also "he married;" related to Akkadian Belu (source of Hebrew Bel ), name of Marduk. Also related to the first element in Beelzebub. Baal | Define Baal at Dictionary.com This also happened with the Name of our Messiah Yahusha. Act 4:18 And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor to teach in the Name of יהושע. For that reason our Father Yahuah asked the following: Pro 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it? There is only ONE NAME! and That Name is Yahuah(יהוה). And the Father feels very strong about this: Isa 42:8 “I am יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols. No deliverance in any other name! Act 4:12 “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.” Our Messiah and the Father has the same Name, because they are ONE! Joh 10:30 “I and My Father are one.” NOW before Yahusha(Yahuah our Messiah) came to earth, He was called: Isa 47:4 Our Redeemer, יהוה of hosts is His Name, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl. And when our Redeemer Yahuah came to earth, He came to save, and His Name became “Yahuah saves” which is Yahusha in Hebrew. He said He came in the Father’s Name: Joh 5:43 “I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive. And this is the very sad bit, mankind received the one who came in his own name - Jesus. Mat 1:24 And Yosĕph, awaking from his sleep, did as the messenger of יהוה commanded him and took his wife, Mat 1:25 but knew her not until she gave birth to her Son, the first-born. And he called His Name יהושע. Can you see the Son’s Name in the Father’s Name? But not according to the names the church uses. We can not even say the names of other mighty ones: Exo 23:13 “And in all that I have said to you take heed. And make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, let it not be heard from your mouth. What makes you think, that if you cant even say it, HOW can you call Him by it? And finally, when you praise the Father and Son, do you say, hallelulord, or hallelujesus? No, you say HalleluYAH! Because that is his Name. Go read PS 68:4 even in your Bible they called Him Yah. Shalom.

@Kile This is another problem with the theology of Christianity, they discarded the command to celebrate the Scriptural feasts and replaced it with their own sacraments. The big, big problem with celebrating Christmas, is that it is a lie. Going directly opposed to Scripture. Wilfully breaking the commandment of Yahuah. If you did keep the Scriptural feasts, you would know that our Messiah wasn't born in December but during the Feast of Tabernacles, which is in the October time frame. If you want me to explain, just ask, i will be happy to. And yes. Yahusha was not put on the stake on Friday. Again if you understood the Scriptural feasts, the you would know. It is important to understand that the Hebrew day starts at sundown, which is the right way according to Scripture. Our Messiah was put on the stake on Wed as you suggested and He had to come down from the stake before sundown, because that is when the High Sabbath of Unleavened Bread started( again the importance of the Scriptural feasts). Let us count: Three days and three nights Wed night - night one. Thu day - day one. Thu night - night two. Fri day - day two. Fri night - night 3. Sat day - day 3. Shalom

@Kile Thank you Kile for taking the time to go through these questions. Again you use Scripture to prove your point, but sadly the Christian theology deceives the Christian greatly. I will respond to your Scripture references first. On 1 cor 12:12 -13, of course this is true. But 1st you need to be Torah observant before you can share the body of our Messiah, we are saved through obedience: Heb 5:9 And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him, You see we only receive His Spirit through obedience: Act 5:32 “And we are His witnesses to these matters, and so also is the Set-apart Spirit whom Elohim has given to those who obey Him.” You say the law is not gone, but Christianity blatantly disobey by calling Him by pagan name, do not keep the Sabbath. You see, this was never changed, Yahuah makes it very clear, that His Covenant He will never change: Psa 89:34 “I shall not profane My covenant, Neither would I change what has gone out from My lips. His Covenant He has given Moses on Mount Sinai, is an everlasting covenant, and THE SABBATH is the eternal sign of the Covenant we have with Yahuah. Exo 31:16 ‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant. Exo 31:17 ‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ” Exo 31:18 And when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim. He signed it with His own finger. The Father uses about 100 words in the 10 commandments to make sure we understand the Sabbath. Consider this, with an important thing such as murder He only uses 4 words. Wouldn’t He at least spend as much effort to make sure we understand, if He would have changed it? It is because He didn’t. Here is the thing, because the church and its members, does not keep the Law/Torah of Yahuah, they don’t know His Name, and neither keep the Sabbath. Our Father says that you shall know His Name if you keep the Sabbath: Eze 20:20 ‘And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am יהוה your Elohim.’ You then mentioned the Scripture Mk 12 where Yahusha discussed the Great command. We find the same topic discussed in Mt 22:36 - 40. Which speaks of loving Yahuah and your neighbour I would like to stress the last verse: Mat 22:40 “On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.” These two commands cover the 10 commandments. When Yahusha explains the love for Yahuah, that would mean that you will obey the 1st four commandments, which applies to Yahuah. And then when He says love your neighbour like yourself. Which then points to the keeping of the last 6 commands applicable to your neighbour. The Torah was not replaced with 2 new commands, it is the same Ten commandments which covers Yahuah One and your neighbour two. In effect, Christianity breaks the 1st 2 commands by calling the Father and Son by pagan names, you break the 3rd command by not calling Him by His Sacred Name and you break the 4th command by not keeping the Sabbath. Things don’t look good for the Christian. Shalom my friend. If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

@Kile I am glad you asked this question. Before I start, you don’t understand Acts 15. It talks about the circumcision and I will happily discus that with you at a later stage. Your 1st point about His Name and other languages. Initially there was only Hebrew, and because of the sin at Babble, they were confused with different languages. So the fact that there are so many languages, is not a blessing but a curse/punishment. Our Father does not need all of us to speak Hebrew, but only call to Him to His Sacred Name. If you are right and it doesn’t matter, why do you call Lord in English, Jesus in Greek and Satan in Hebrew. Why not all three in English? Because this way Satan gets all the Glory. That is why Yahuah put it in His 3rd Command. If it didn’t matter to Him He would have left it out. But in no uncertain terms He tells us not to bring His Name to naught. Meaning taking it out of use, not saying it. He does not share His Name, I can give you many Scriptures stressing the importance of His Name. But I have already shown you why it has gone lost. But Yahuah says in the last days we will know His Name. This would suggest that His Name was known, like in all of Christianity. Isa 52:6 “Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.” Jer 16:21 “Therefore see, I am causing them to know, this time I cause them to know My hand and My might. And they shall know that My Name is יהוה!” Yahusha our Messiah said that He will make the Father’s name known to those who obey His Word: Joh 17:6 “I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word. These above words wouldn’t exist in the Scriptures, if His Sacred Name was not important. Why would it be a yoke to call Our Father by his real name? It is not difficult for me to call Kile, no yoke there! But it is important to call the Father and Yahusha by His Sacred Name. The whole world knows Trump. The whole world knows Hitler. But call anyone of those two Johnson, nobody will know who you are talking about. So the whole world knows the Lord and Jesus, but call to pagan gods. That is why it matters. It is not about you, or me. It is about The Father and what He wants. He want us not to bring His Name to naught. It is simple, then call Him Yahuah. Try it, it is not hard. And by the way, it is tradition that calls Him by pagan names(Lord and Jesus - Christian tradition), not the truth. I am not trying to put a yoke around your neck, just sharing Yahuah’s will with you. Exo 20:7 “You do not bring the Name of יהוה your Elohim to naught, for יהוה does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. Isa 42:8 “I am יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.

@Kile You sure did a lot of effort for nothing, these are not names, but titles and descriptions. Our Messiah Yahusha does not lie, there is only one Name: Act 4:12 “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.” If you look at the following verse: Num 6:27 “Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisra’ĕl, and I Myself shall bless them.” THe Father didn't say put His Names on the children of Yisrael but singular, name!

The evolution of christianity can easily be seen in history. One early schism was between jewish christians and gentile christians. I heard there might still be some jewish christians in Kerala India (their legends say they got their version of jewish christianity from people who came from somewhere in Syria where jewish christians were being persecuted by gentile christians so they went to India to escape persecution). When portugal catholic invaders went to Kerala India, they tried to wipe out the jewish christians but I heard the jewish christians survived. There are modern revivals of jewish christianity such as messianic judaism (it is actually christianity) and Herbert W Armstrong. Other early schisms were between non trinitarians (like arians) and trinitarians. The trinitarians killed the non trinitarians so the non trinitarians did not survive. There are modern revivals of non trinitarians such as unitarians, jehovah's witnesses, oneness pentecostals, etc. Other early schisms resulted in the oriental orthodox, eastern orthodox and catholics. Protestants came out of the catholics and there are now thousands of protestant sects. In america, the main divide in protestants is liberal (nrsv, reb, ceb), evangelical (niv, esv, nlt, csb, nkjv, mev) and fundamentalist (kjv) which is obvious by the bible translation that they use. Even though kjv, nkjv and mev are all translated from the received text or majority text, the nkjv and mev are translated by evangelicals so most fundamentalists will not use the nkjv and mev. A few fundamentalists believe the kjv is inspired and should not be changed (like Peter S Ruckman). Most fundamentalists prefer not to change the kjv and some have tried to include definitions for archaic english such as the defined kjb (biblefortoday org) and the westminster bible (trinitarian bible society) which are similar to the annotated shakespeare archaic english that school kids read. Fundamentalists do not seem to have a new translation which is accepted by the majority of fundamentalists altho some have updated the kjv such as the KJVer (uses both updates and end of verse definitions for archaic english), comfort-able kjv (in the evidence bible of ray comfort), avu authorized version update (mennonite anabaptist bibleviews com which seems fundamentalist bec of the belief in separation). There are liberal baptists (like american baptist churches), evangelical baptists (like southern baptists), fundamentalist baptists (like regular baptists).

There might be small non trinitarian groups that survived in places ruled by muslims. The jewish christians survived in Kerala India bec Hindus and Muslims were more tolerant. In places ruled by catholics and protestants, non trinitarians were all executed. I heard John Calvin executed at least one unitarian. Early baptists were persecuted and or executed by fellow protestants which explains why the kjv says baptize rather than immerse (all of the kjv translators did not practice immersion). The history of christianity is quite unpleasant.

SO what is the difference between the KJB ad the NWT from GOD';s perspective? BOTH are corrupted translations used to support a single denominational concept. The NWT could be called a protestant corruption - the KJB a catholic corruption. Neither are based on accurate ancient texts.

@Raven You raise an interesting point. WHO DID translate the NWT? It is a terrible translation with the frank admission that it is translated to remove tritarian"bias",by which they mean facts as the Trinity teaching begins in Gen 1:1
@paulrobinson9318
@paulrobinson9318 5 жыл бұрын
+@Raven Well right off you have s serious issue - as the nuances of the Aramaic Hebrew and Greek are often lost in the translation into English - AND here is NO 100% accurate text to go from anyway. WE can expect 99.something, BUT not 100%. And NOT in any of the late texts - such as the TR - which came from texts at the OLDEST 1100 AD - a LONG way from 200 when counting handwritten copies. And it came from 6 partial and corrupted copies - so NO sense of accuracy there . . . "Hmm...I'm a big fan of comparing various translations, and I can't think of any translation that outright supports the trinity doctrine? As a point of order I was once a oneness pastor - so I know all the arguments - many quite valid - BUT none explaining the offices of God as well as the Trinity teaching. NOR will I allow 1 John 5:7 to be used as my arguiment for it is at the oldest 6th century insertion, it was unknown when the Arian heresy - that there is ONLY one God, NOT Jesus - was infecting the church. IT did NOT exist at the time. "Nontrinitarianism is hardly a unique point to raise for the NWT, nor a unique understanding of the Jehovah's Witnesses. TRUE, BUT that is NOT making it the correct position. The Godhead is a mystery - and we CANNOT comprehend it. Its that simple. BUT the trinitarian position is the most understandable, and closets fits the EVIDENCE. Every heresy that has arisen denying the trinity in the Christian church has been put down by orthodoxy. There are NO new arguments that are worth noting. Nontrinitarianism goes back before the Council of Nicaea, as it was controversial at that time, though they made it that those who disagreed would be exiled, so it became political to openly accept the trinity." Rubbish. Even now multiple Christian denominations, and millions of Christians, don't believe in the trinity, not just Jehovah's Witnesses...If anything I'd say that's actually a point that they got right." YOU are correct - BUT again that does NOT make it right. Honestly, I'm not sure why the doctrine of a tri-god is so common today in Christendom, when they apparently base their beliefs on the Bible?" Because the Bible teaches it from Gen 1:1 to Revelation. WAS Jesus God? Let US make man in OUR image - the plural God . . . A cool site that helps make it simpler than I can www.bible.ca/trinity/ Trinity vs Islam . . . kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJCUkmedYreYd9E www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/247850.The_Forgotten_Trinity www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=723151456570 unbelievable.podbean.com/e/unbelievable-13-mar-2010-can-we-trust-the-trinity-james-white-vs-anthony-buzzard/ Just for starters. There is NO rational argument that can be presented to deny the Hebrew uses of plural name for GOD, and singular names for GOD, unless there is a distinction between the GOD head an the members of it. One need NOT have the NT to prove the Trinity, but it helps.

I have people commenting on KZbin posts I wrote 10 years ago. The TRUTH stays out there. Additionally, I'm now 75 and typing is difficult. Conservation of energy is important. "The quote from the Bible of "let us make man in our image" if anything is evidence against the trinity and not for it." YOU are exactly wrong. How could you make that assumption? While it is NOT an explanation of the trinity, it refutes completely the concept of modalism. "Our" means more than one individual, in which case this refers to God speaking to His Son - as we know that the Bible teaches that Jesus existed before humans and before earth and before our universe were all created," Almost right - the Holy Spirit was also involved in that conversation. MORE, YES. TWO more to be exact. "but even earlier than all of that, the Bible also states that Jesus himself was also created, : False - no such scripture exists. "as he is called the "firstborn" of creation - Colossians 1:15." NO connection to the eternal pre-existent trinity at all there. Context is everything. Before Creation there WAS no time - there COULD not have been a time when Jesus was created. He either co-existed with the Father and Holy Spirit or he was created on day one - because that is when time began - yet the Bible says that Jesus was the creator, so that's out . . . The Watchtower are polytheists - Jesus is a lesser God - BUT still a god - along with Jehovah. Firstborn is a poor translation - BUT the word is difficult - the meaning is preeminent: "“The ‘firstborn’ was either the eldest child in a family or a person of preeminent rank. The use of this term to describe the Davidic king in Ps 88:28 LXX (=Ps 89:27 EVV), ‘I will also appoint him my firstborn (πρωτότοκον), the most exalted of the kings of the earth,’ indicates that it can denote supremacy in rank as well as priority in time. But whether the πρωτό- element in the word denotes time, rank, or both, the significance of the -τοκος element as indicating birth or origin (from τίκτω, give birth to) has been virtually lost except in ref. to lit. birth.” In Col 1:15 the emphasis is on the priority of Jesus’ rank as over and above creation (cf. 1:16 and the “for” clause referring to Jesus as Creator)." "This all makes sense with Jesus always being called the "Son"." BUT that ignores the reference to Him as Alpha and Omega in Rev. NO he NOT always called the son. His is in submission to the Father - but NOT because of birth, but position. I every way Jesus is co-etarnal and co-equal to the Father; He wills to be in submission to the Father. These familial names are for human understanding only - it has NOTHING to do with the dynamics of the Godhead in eternity. BUT the mystery needs words we can picture to make it comprehensible. By a Born again Jewish Scholar: " Jesus is called ‘the firstborn of every creature’ (Colossians 1:15). However, in Jewish imagery, ‘firstborn’ means ‘having the rights and special privileges belonging to the eldest child’. It refers to pre-eminence in rank more than to priority in time. This can be shown in passages where the term ‘firstborn’ is used of the pre-eminent son who was not the eldest, e.g. Psalm 89:27, where David is called ‘firstborn’ although he was actually the youngest son. ‘Firstborn’ does not mean ‘first created’; the Greek for the latter is protoktisis, while firstborn is prototokos. In fact, the verses after Colossians 1:15 show that Christ Himself is the creator of all things. Jesus is Son of God. From this, some cults try to show that Jesus is somehow less than God. But in Jewish imagery, ‘the son of’ often meant ‘of the order of’ or ‘having the very nature of’. For example, ‘sons of the prophets’ meant ‘of the order of prophets’ (1 Kings 20:35); ‘sons of the singers’ meant ‘of the order of singers’ (Nehemiah 12:28). Jesus’ Jewish contemporaries understood that He was claiming to be God, which is why they wanted to kill him for blasphemy (John 19:7). Jesus is the ‘only-begotten Son’ (John 3:16). The Greek word translated ‘only-begotten’ is monogenes, which means ‘unique, one of a kind’. Jesus is the unique Son of God, because he is God by His very nature (see above). Believers in Him become ‘sons of God’ by adoption (Galatians 3:26-4:7). creation.com/jesus-christ-our-creator-a-biblical-defence-of-the-trinity creation.com/discussing-trinity - a great response to a QUESTION like yours. . . . "If you think what I said about the Council of Nicaea is "rubbish", you might want to research Arius." Of course, I have - I taught Church History. The concept of modalism is as old as the church - BUT it gained almost NO traction til Arius. And that was soon snuffed out by Athanasius. Sybellianism is another similar but distinct heresy. "Nontrinitarianism goes back much further than that as well of course, as the Jews/Israelites/Abraham all believed in one God, not in a tri-god." False. NO evidence exists for the concept that there was ONE God. The KNEW God as a compound unity - ala the Shema. One nation (implied plurality). One Eloheinu - Implied plurality. "Shema Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad-“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one” (Deuteronomy 6:4).”" " . . . they bought “echad” grapes. The word “echad,” although it refers to ONE, is talking about a BUNCH of grapes. Therefore, when we talk about Adonai Echad,” we can be talking about three gods in one." "Well, in Genesis 2:24 the same word “echad” is used to describe how a husband and wife will become one flesh. In Genesis 11:6, the tower of Babel narrative describes the people as being one (echad). Ezra 2:64 the whole assembly is gathered together (echad). But the people in the assembly numbered 42,360. In these verses, echad represents a unified oneness, not a numerical oneness.. . ." . . . As usual, the answer lies in the context. The word for God in the Shema is plural אֱלֹהִים (‘Elohiym). Just like Genesis 2:24, chapter 11 verse 6, Ezra 2:64, and others not listed here, echad means a compound unity.. . . Therefore, we see that even before the Trinity was understood as we understand it today, the Hebrews of the Old Testament understood there was a vastness and complexity to the Godhead. The very first word used for God in the Bible (Genesis 1:1) is the plural word Elohiym." theologetics.org/2016/11/30/the-shema-and-the-trinity/ also tabletalkmagazine.com/posts/jesus-the-shema-and-the-glorious-trinity/ "The new form of Christianity that had adopted the Platonic idea of a tri-god (and tri-gods go back further all the way to ancient Babylon)" Evidence? "had a different view of God than the Jews/Israelites/Abraham did. Trinities are very common in pagan religions," Again - Evidence? IU keep hearing this buit cannot fine ONE accurae and hitorically accurate comment - erfdyone has a conspiracy rthgeorty - few are true. That for for trinities in paganism as well. BUT I'll let you convonce me . . . " but was distinctly different to the original Abrahamic religion that Jesus was raised into when he was born as a human." Well, yeah!! One was the TRUTH the other a lie.

There are a lot of tradition in the church today , and it is good for some point, but it cannot saves us. We tried to tell others , they were not in the truth but the same time we only got a bits of truth, examples, the gospel of Jesus Christ, we hear most preacher preach Christ Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead after three days, you see that a half of the truth that we talked about. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for salvation, amen , if we take notice , the truth of the gospel was Christ die and was buried and after three days he rose from the dead, amen , do you notice the difference of the gospel that most preacher proclaim today? I asked that question , because we have to believe a single, very narrow truth, and not many find it, too many half truth preacher today, amen. You shall know the truth and He shall make you free, how shall they know without a preacher ?and how they can be preached if not send?yes my fellow pilgrims, beware the truth you receive is the whole truth, not the half truth, amen. Christ died for our sins, “we all repent from our sins “and Christ buried “ we all baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins “and Christ rose from the dead, so the spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwelling in us, amen , then we all have hope of eternal life, amen, God bless.
