Ginkgo split the “traditional” CFO into 2: One designing the business model and another dealing with valuation-based accounting.

Why? The CFO should focus on Strategy and Treasury and the Controller on accounting & tax - The Chief Accounting Officer / Controller should report to the CFO

Is the foundry capacity constrained? If so, do you select or reject programs based on likelihood of success and commercialization potential?

Difficult to imagine that they are not constrained, but even if they aren’t that constrained, it’s still an issue of prioritizing finite time and resources on more promising projects.
