Atlas actually updated a decent amount of the audio and video when they re-released innocent sin and eternal punishment to the psvita in 2011/2013. The graphics obviously aren't up to atlas' current capabilities but it's a big step up from the PS1 version.

Its so hard to pick because Persona 5 was my first one in the series. I played royal, fes, and golden after but I can definitely say P4 has the best cast. Just imagine it had similar mechanics and visuals to the fifth game I think it’d be the best no question. Such a great game I’m happy I could finally play it on pc.

Recently Persona 5 and 3 Dancing games have been released. In itself its kinda stupid to release 2x full Prices games at the same time + both have no story mode. You literally pay 60€(or 100€ for the pack) for Persona 4 Dancing All Night except you have no Story. Luckily Persona fans didnt just eat it up and gave it justified critizism. I hope Atlus doesnt go down the EA etc route. Monetizing their flagship is alright as long as it has some kind of Quality related to it.

(Edit: I realized why I wasn't connecting with this franchise. I talked with my friend and she told me that none of the stories are connected to each other except for maybe "Persona" with "Persona 2: Innocent Sin" and "Persona 2: Eternal Punishment". The only things that carry over the entire franchise are the concept of the Personas and that creature named Igor.) I'm trying really hard to understand this whole thing because my friend recently joined the bandwagon. To me, it sounds like "Multiple Personality Disorder with Magical Powers and Mythical Creatures". Granted, I do have a better understanding of it now that I know what Personas really are. This video did help, despite my difficulties understanding this. From what I gather, these "Personas" are spirits based upon mythological creatures and Japanese deities (I looked up a good portion of the franchise on Wikipedia, not sure if it's all true or not) that come forth to aid the protagonist and his/her party, and these creatures are basically just the protagonist and his/her friend(s) personalities come to life as said spirits. As for this "Joker" guy, he must be some malevolent demon or something that enjoys chaos and changing reality (like making pigs fly or making people disappear into the void or something). But, in order for him to do that, he has to be summoned by someone and then have them grant some kind of wish that would usually be something impossible (kind of like a genie?). Sounds a lot like deal-making with a demon to me, but that's just a guess. I don't know if I'll be able to get in on this because it's a bit complicated for me, which confuses me more because I get "Kingdom Hearts" and it's complex storyline, and I also understand "Lord of the Rings". Both are pretty deep in story and lore and world-building. It's almost like I'm getting "Final Fantasy" vibes or something (I haven't touched that one either... @ _ @). I never really was one to indulge in mythology and history as such, so I'm sure that's part of my disconnect with this. I'm all for magic and deep world-building and demons and gods and whatnot. It makes the story far more interesting. Unfortunately, though, I'm not sure I can add "Persona" to my list of interests. I think what I might wind up doing is sifting through the wiki for answers (I usually understand things way better through wikis; hopefully, the info is all accurate).

I've only sounded Sonny how Revelations Persona was a rated kids to adults the the old equivalent of e for everyone then persona 2 was rated teen then the next sequel and every game afterwards then rated M for mature. So a game can go to being suitable for six year olds then the next game in the series suitable for people 17 years old and up because of that makes plenty of sense!

Fun fact- In Persona 1&2 the town of Inaba is mentioned a few times, and if i remember correctly a P1 character is from Inaba. And in P3 (atleast in the PSP version) you get to meet Yukiko as a kid, and in P4 the golden you meet a few characters from P3 as well as Mitsuru is mentioned.

Rise from Persona 4 is also referenced by Shinjiro in Persona 3 Portable. In Persona 4, Rise mentions that she was supposed to have a show in Club Escapade at the Paulownia Mall, but it was cancelled due to a "power outage". The power outage, of course, is actually just the Arcana Hermit Shadow causing a ruckus as we all know.

I know I'm late, but there's also a scene in persona 2 where there's a kid that looks like Jun that says his mom and dad are missing, so Jun makes a promise to find them and make sure they're okay. He gives him flowers as a promise, however, that never actually happens. He as well as a group of other children played the persona game, which if you're not familiar with the persona game, if you play it, there is a chance that you'll be granted the power to summon your persona. It makes me wonder if this was foreshadowing to the persona 3 protagonist. I could be wrong though

Persona 5 is my first Persona game and it's my first JRPG game too, and I don't think my introduction to the JRPG genre could have been any better tbh 😂 I'm not a fan of anime e.t.c, but Persona 5 is one of the best games I've ever played! Edit: Royal is the best game I've ever played! Edit 2: I'm halfway through Persona 4 Golden and it's been really great so far!

No, theyre velvet room attendants like Elizabeth, Margaret and the rest, they just weren't chosen to be in the velvet room of the later protagonists, since the velvet attendants are chosen by igor to go along with the characters cognition and personality
