Heard this in the listening room at Linn (high end hifi manufacturer). The speakers and equipment it was playing on was worth tens of thousands of pounds. This cover is beautifully honest recording. The sound quality at Linn was crisp with presence and perfect clarity. Equipment aside, this is a fantastic piece of music.

Gary Numan himself said he doubted he could ever do as well as this performance! Aside from the fact he is crazy modest, he wrote some of the best lyrics of the early 80's music. Listen to the intro and first lines- you can hear An working one of the pedals! Awesome tribute, part of a 2 CD Numan tribute featuring over a dozen performers!

Which would be strange as she and Tori were both still small at that time. The difference being that Tori had a big record label behind her to support her and pay for her move to England, An only had herself and a piano. An played and released this stuff when Tori was still quite unknown. We're talking 1996 and earlier here.
