They got together against the odds and stayed together, dedicating their lives to loving and helping people in a truly humble but inspirational way. I'm seeing this from a very different angle. And many people don't talk about it. We're talking about poor peasants and poverty. They pass on their poverty from one generation to another. Some get enough crops to support their family each year while many don't. Many of them relies on money that they borrow from those who have the money and normally act as middle to buy their crops to sell for profit. They do this year in and year out endlessly. Some trap themselves with no way out. When the Khmer Rouge elevated them to the top by lowering others to their level, those people revenge. Yes, some of them were killers during the Khmer Rouge regime. They were all in it because they don't want to see those people rise up again. They killed all educated people because Khmer Rouge said that they now are the steering of the country. Helping these people to have a way out is a genuine program to prevent another disaster like Khmer Rouge.
